Optus Software announces bundling of award-winning FACSys fax server
application with high-end CPi board from GammaLink

Integrated hardware/software combination provides NetWare users With
robust, scalable network fax solution

June 13, 1994 -- Optus Software today announced the availability of a
FACSys/CPi bundle, which will give NetWare users the ability to purchase
high-end network fax hardware and software in a single package. Together,
the two products will provide complete network faxing capabilities,
including seamless NOS integration, twin DOS and Windows client
interfaces, support for a full range of inbound routing technologies, and
open programming interfaces for building customized application-driven fax
routines.

The FACSys/CPi bundle retails for $ 1895 and is available exclusively
through GammaLink's domestic distribution channel.

"GammaLink pioneered this industry, and we are very glad to have reached
this agreement with them," said Joseph Avellino, president of Optus.
"Their CPi board is exactly the kind of hardware that we are encouraging
our users to install, since it provides the high performance, high
reliability, and scalability we believe are essential to successful
LAN-fax implementations." Avellino also pointed out that the addition of
GammaLink's distribution channel would give users another major source for
purchasing FACSys.

"FACSys is an excellent complement for users who want to use the CPi board
in a network fax server," said John Taylor, GammaLink's vice president of
engineering. "Optus Software has built a high-quality fax server
application, and has done an outstanding job of integrating that
application with our hardware." Taylor said that Optus and GammaLink
engineers have worked closely to ensure that the two products work
together seamlessly and fully exploit each other's advanced feature sets.

GammaLink and Optus Software are also working closely on building fax
solutions for emerging corporate platforms such as Microsoft Windows NT,
Novell NetWare 4.x, Microsoft At Work and Microsoft EMS, along with other
strategic operating environments and groupware applications. Additionally,
Optus works closely with and supports products from Dialogic Corporation,
with whom GammaLink has announced merger plans.

Optus also announced support for GammaLink's latest CP4/LSI board.

GammaLink, a Dialogic company, headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, was
established in 1983 and is the originator of the computer-based fax
industry.

Optus Software has been integrating fax communications into data networks
since 1987. It introduced FACSys into the LAN marketplace in 1990. Optus
