IN-FLIGHT PHONE CORP. AND PERSONAL TRAVEL TECHNOLOGIES, INC. TO PROVIDE
PASSENGERS WITH INSTANT TRAVEL DIRECTIONS FOR 40 MAJOR CITIES

(Oakbook Terrace, IL - June 29, 1994) Airline passengers flying into an
unfamiliar metropolitan area will no longer have to fumble with maps or
approach strangers for directions. Thanks to an agreement between
In-Flight Phone Corporation (IFPC), which is providing its FlightLink
passenger communications and entertainment system to nearly 1,000
commercial aircraft, and Personal Travel Technologies, Inc. (PTT) of
Mineola, NY, creators of Personal Travel Guide (PTG), the world's first
personal navigation system, airline passengers aboard FlightLink equipped
aircraft will be able to obtain directions, either on-screen or printed,
to guide them from the airport to a specific destination in more than 40
major cities.

"PTG and FlightLink can help passengers get from the airport to any address
in a metropolitan area, even while they're in the air," said John D.
("Jack") Goeken, Chairman and CEO of In-Flight Phone Corp. "Together,
FlightLink and PTG will offer airline passengers an invaluable service,"
he said.

"PTG's extensive databases produce 'smart maps,' which take into
consideration whether the traveler plans to use a car, public
transportation, or simply walk," said Allan Danns, President and CEO of
PTT. "For example, a sales rep is on her way to conference in Chicago and
wants to take a customer to the best Italian restaurant within a 10 minute
drive-of the conference center. Not only will PTG provide her with a list
of recommended restaurants, but it will also suggest the best route and
best form of transportation."

FlightLink will also offer Personal Travel Technology's Video Information
Pages (VIP) to guide travelers to a city's hotels, dining, shopping,
banking, entertainment, emergency services, convention planning, and
businesses. VIP even features a five-language word and phrase translator.

HOW IT WORKS:

Passengers aboard a FlightLink equipped aircraft can use PTG directly at
their airline seats, which have been equipped with a VGA-quality viewing
screen and a telephone handset that also functions as a computer keyboard.
After selecting PTG from the service menu, they can view
easy-to-understand instructions. Passengers will be prompted for an
address, and the preferred method of travel. PTG will then generate a map
and display the instructions on the screen. Typed instructions can be
obtained from a central on-board printer.

PTG accesses destination databases for more than 40 major destinations, the
most extensive electronic library of travel information available.
Background latitude-longitude imbedding of all addresses enables PTG to
generate travel instructions.
