IOMEGA, NOMAI, AND SYQUEST ANNOUNCE AGREEMENT JOINTLY DROPPING ALL
LITIGATION

ROY, Utah, Jun. 16, 1994--Iomega Corporation, Nomai S.A. and SyQuest
Technology announced today an agreement jointly settling all litigation
regarding Iomega branded 44 and 88 megabyte removable hard drive
cartridges compatible with SyQuest manufactured drives.

As Iomega has continuously stated, upon a legally binding memorandum of
understanding reached in March of this year between the three companies,
Iomega/Nomai will pay royalties to SyQuest for each Iomega Removable Hard
Disk Cartridge sold for a period of two years in exchange for a license
from SyQuest of intellectual property related to SyQuest 44MB and 88MB
cartridges.

"Iomega is quickly emerging as the removable storage leader offering a
broad range of different removable storage product options for computer
users," said Michael Joseph, vice president of strategic marketing. "Our
44MB and 88MB cartridges give SyQuest drive customers another choice for
high quality, low priced cartridges from a company whose reputation is
based on quality, dependability and customers service."

Iomega Removable Hard Disk Cartridges are manufactured with media designed
for removability by IBM, who is recognized worldwide as the leader in
Winchester technology. The disks also have a diamond-like coating making
them more resistant to head crash. Each cartridge is preformatted and
tested, and fully compatible with all 44MB and 88MB SyQuest drives.

Each cartridge ships with a unique software driver that once installed on a
computer supports most other SyQuest drives. The driver makes it easier
for users by eliminating the constant 'rebooting' associated with software
driver incompatibilities found among the different brands of SyQuest
drives. The cartridges have also been tested and certified for use in
SyQuest drives by XXCAL a world leader in PC Compatibility testing.

In accordance with the agreement, SyQuest will also honor its warranty on
drives used with the Iomega Removable Hard Disk Cartridges. To ensure
total customer support, Iomega Removable Hard Disk Cartridges have a
5-year "no questions asked" warranty and free data recovery services. The
warranty allows users to determine if the cartridge meets their needs. If
not, the cartridges are replaced free of charge.

Iomega began distributing the Nomai manufactured cartridges nine months
ago. On May 16, Iomega announced it would begin selling the 44MB and 88MB
cartridges under the Iomega brand and label.
