IOMEGA AND MACROMEDIA JOIN FORCES TO PROVIDE TOTAL MULTIMEDIA AUTHORING
SOLUTION

ROY, Utah, June 23, 1994--In conjunction with Macromedia's recent
introduction of its Macromedia Director into the Windows environment,
Iomega Corporation today announced an agreement with the company to bundle
Bernoulli MultiDisk 150 removable disk drives with Macromedia Director 4.0
multimedia authoring software.

Combining a complete solution for multimedia creation on both Macintosh and
Windows platforms, multimedia authors can purchase the bundle for the same
street price they would normally pay for Macromedia Director software
alone.

"The agreement with Macromedia strengthens our position in the PC
multimedia market and lets multimedia authors take advantage of Bernoulli
capacity and power literally for free," said Tony Radman, Iomega senior
vice president of sales and marketing. "I don't see how they can pass up
such an opportunity."

The MultiDisk 150/Macromedia Director bundle is available in two
versions--one for Microsoft Windows-based PCs and the other for Apple
Macintosh computers. The PC version includes an external PC-powered
Bernoulli MultiDisk 150 drive. The Macintosh package comes with a
MacTransportable Bernoulli MultiDisk 150 drive. Both versions include a
Bernoulli cartridge with Director 4.0 installed to ensure fast startup.

Director 4.0 offers cross-platform file compatibility allowing applications
created in either Windows or Macintosh to work seamlessly on either
platform. The MultiDisk 150 also supports this compatibility by enabling
users to exchange disks freely between Windows and Macintosh computers
using cross-platform media software.

The Bernoulli MultiDisk 150 is the removable storage device of choice among
PC multimedia application users. It provides the high capacity required
for large multimedia files while delivering the performance of a fixed
hard disk. Disks are available in 35, 65, 105, and 150 megabyte
capacities. Bernoulli disks are recognized as the most rugged removable
media on the market. Multimedia authors can store their creations and
transport disks--or even send them via mail or delivery service--without
worrying about damaging or losing files.

Macromedia Director 4.0 is a powerful software tool for combining text,
graphics, animation, sound, digital video and interactivity to create
dynamic multimedia productions. Macromedia Director is the market leader
in multimedia authoring software for the Macintosh and is now available
for Microsoft Windows.

Price and Availability

The product bundle will be available domestically and internationally by
Sept. 1 through selected Iomega channel partners and Macromedia's well
established VAR channel for a targeted U.S. street price of $850. Iomega
is working with both channels to ensure the highest level of customer
service and support.

Iomega Corporation (NASDAQ:IOMG) develops, manufactures and sells removable
mass storage subsystems for desktop and portable computers, and for
workstations. Iomega's patented Bernoulli technology provides unlimited
data storage capability by combining the removability and security of
floppy drives with the high capacity and performance of rigid drives.
Iomega's patented Tape250 QIC backup tape drives provide cross-platform
backup for DOS, Windows, and OS/2 operating systems and read
Irwin-formatted tapes. Iomega also sells 21MB floppy drives using
Floptical technology, and 1.3 gigabyte LaserSafe Plus magneto-optical
drives.
