KODAK PROFESSIONAL IMAGE LIBRARY 30:
FACTS AT A GLANCE (WINDOWS VERSION)

The new Kodak Professional Image Library 30 is an automated compact disc
database system offering on-line storage of up to 60 gigabytes of data on
a variety of CD formats, including Photo CD discs. Using removable
magazines, the library is capable of managing 100 discs on-line, and as
many as 2,400 CDs off-line.

The library is a fully integrated system, consisting of the Kodak PCD
professional jukebox 100 (an automated disc library that can store 100
discs) and Kodak jukebox manager software (which manages stored media and
directs the operation of the library's robotics and double-speed,
multisession drive). Information management software, such as Kodak
Shoebox image manager software, provides the front-end storage, search and
retrieval functions.

* Applications: Designed to offer fast, economical access to CD-stored
information at the desktop. Appropriate anywhere fast retrieval, security
and storage space are a concern, including stock photo agencies, museums
and medical facilities. The library also is ideal for users who produce
multimedia programs and other image-intensive projects.

* Compatible Disc Formats: CD-ROM, CD-ROM XA, CD-I and Kodak Writable CD
formats, plus all current Photo CD formats, including Photo CD master (35
mm images at photographic resolution), pro Photo CD master (35 mm images,
plus larger film formats, at photographic resolution) and catalog Photo CD
(more than 5,000 Photo CD images on one disc, at lower resolutions).

* Jukebox Storage Capacity: 100 discs on-line plus up to 2,400 discs
off-line. On-line storage of Photo CD images depends on which disc formats
are chosen. For example, the jukebox can hold 2,500 4 x 5-inch images on
Kodak pro Photo CD master discs or 10,000 35 mm images on standard Kodak
Photo CD master discs.

* Information Management Software Compatibility: The library is compatible
with any Windows database software that uses DDE (dynamic data exchange).

* Retrieval Options (using Kodak Shoebox software): Retrieve images in
TIFF, PCX, BMP, TGA, WPG and GIF formats, as well as WAV audio files.
Access images at all resolutions from Kodak Photo CD master, pro Photo CD
master and catalog Photo CD discs.
