MAG InnoVision's Green Energy Monitors Environmentally Sound

NEW YORK, New York, June 28, 1994--It's a jungle out there! And MAG
InnoVision wants to keep it that way with Green Energy monitors. Green
Energy monitors are designed to have a minimal impact on the environment
by conserving energy and by meeting SWEDAC MPR II guidelines for low
electromagnetic and static emissions. Packaged in recyclable materials, no
ozone depleting substances are used in the manufacturing or packaging of
Green Energy monitors. The signaling is also fully compatible with the
Video Electronics Standard Association's (VESA) Display Power Management
Signaling (DPMS) requirements.

Many manufacturers claim that their monitors are "green" because they are
EPA Energy Star compliant but they may or may not include the additional
features of low emissions, VESA compatibility, recyclable packaging and
the elimination of CFCs used in the manufacturing and/or packaging of the
monitors. Green Energy represents compliance with all of these features
and makes it simple for the consumer to make an environmentally wise
decision without a lot of inquiry.

Early compliance with the EPA Energy Star Computers program represents MAG
InnoVision's total commitment to producing an ergonomic and
environmentally-friendly product. This is why MAG InnoVision is a proud
partner in the EPA program--because it's a jungle out there and we want to
keep it that way.

The EPA program was created to drastically cut energy consumption in the
workplace. Monitors account for most of the energy a computer system uses
and in order to comply with the EPA requirements, they must consume no
more than 30W in the sleep mode. MAG's Green Energy monitors exceed the
EPA's minimum requirement by consuming less than 15W in the sleep mode.
By incorporating a synchronization signal activated dual mode energy saving
feature, MAG's Green Energy monitors are able to conserve 80% of power in
Suspend mode and more than 86% of power in Off mode. The advantage of
using a dual mode feature is that by keeping the CRT heated in Suspend
mode, the recovery of the display image is instantaneous.

MAG's Green Energy monitors meet SWEDAC MPR II guidelines by adding
concellation coils to the yoke of the CRT and an anti-static coating on
the surface of the screen. This has an additional benefit of keeping the
CRT relatively dust free for a cleaner, clearer view of the image. Green
Energy monitors will be identified by the Green Energy logo on the
packaging and on the monitor bezel. A green frog is used in the Green
Energy logo to represent a clean environment.

Best of all, monitors with the Green Energy logo from MAG InnoVision have
the legendary performance of a MAG. The kind of performance that earned PC
Magazine's Editors' Choice four years in a row and PC World's Best Buy for
two consecutive years. Additionally, MAG InnoVision recently earned PC
Magazine's Readers' Choice award for overall Service and Reliability
(January '94). The LX1450LG, LX1564LG, DX15F, DX17F, MX17FG and MX21F all
have Green Energy and they are shipping now. The new Elite Series will be
available July 1, 1994.

Based in Santa Ana, California and established in 1990 as the international
sales and marketing arm of MAG Technology Co., Ltd., of Taiwan, MAG
InnoVision, Inc. has become a leading supplier of high-end color
monitors.
