MAG InnoVision's DX Series Sales Strong, Rave Reviews

NEW YORK, New York June 28, 1994--The all new DX series has been selling
strong and gaining rave reviews ever since its launch in February of this
year. The 15" and 17" digitally-controlled monitors feature flat square
technology (FST) cathode ray tubes (CRT), are compatible with IBM systems
and with an adapter, are also fully compatible with Apple systems as well.
Specifically designed for the value-conscious corporate, personal and
small office user, the DX line boasts high performance features with an
extremely competitive price.

The DX series has received rave reviews from numerous publications. PC
World said, "For rocksolid viewing at 1024 by 768 resolution, you can't go
wrong with the MAG DX17F," and they called it "a great deal, plain and
simple (April 1994)." Windows Sources called the DX17F "eye-pleasing" and,
"it sports an anti-glare screen that also emits low radiation, making it a
pleasure to use-- even over long Windows sessions (June 1994)." MacUser
gave the DX17F an outstanding rating for price and performance in their
"Big-Screen Bargains" review (June 1994).

The DX15F and DX17F models feature Green Energy. Green Energy monitors are
designed to have a minimal impact on the environment by conserving energy,
incorporating low emissions components, recyclable packaging, and
eliminating CFCs from the manufacturing and/or packaging of the monitors.
The video signal circuits are fully compatible with the Video Electronics
Standard Association's (VESA) Display Power Management Signaling (DPMS)
requirements and they are EPA Energy Star compliant.

The major benefit of the energy-efficiency is the monitors ability to power
down to below 30 watts in the Stand-by/Suspend mode and still lower to 10
watts in the Active Off/Sleep mode. This achieves a savings of 100 kWHr
(Kilowatt hours) of energy per year, assuming 8 hours per day of operating
time and considering the EPA's estimate that the screen is not looked at
80% of the time.

Energy-efficiency is achieved by using a sync signal activated dual-mode
feature that enables the monitor to switch between On, Stand-by/Suspend,
and Active Off/Sleep modes. The DX15F and DX17F represent MAG InnoVision's
total commitment to, and early compliance with, the EPA Energy Star
Computers Program and SWEDAC MPR II guidelines for low electromagnetic and
static emissions.

The DX line features non-interlaced resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 pixels
for more windows work space and support ergonomic refresh rates up to 76Hz
at 1024 x 768 resolution. The DX15F has a dot pitch of .28 mm while the
DX17F has a super-fine dot pitch of .26 mm. Digital controls include front
power, brightness, contrast, horizontal phase, horizontal size, vertical
position, vertical size, recall/program, and a user/preset mode selector.
Maximum control is at your fingertips with a pincushion control and manual
degauss button for on-the-fly degaussing. Wide bandwidths of 100 MHz on
the DX17F and 80 MHz on the DX15F provide broad horizontal and vertical
frequency ranges to ensure sharper, flicker-free images at even the
highest resolutions.

The DX series is a complimentary line to the high-end Elite series. For the
DX series, we eliminated the features that perhaps only 5-10% of users
would request, and kept the features that would benefit 90% of the users.

Established in 1990 as the international sales and marketing arm of MAG
Technology Co., Ltd., of Taiwan, MAG InnoVision, Inc. has become a leading
supplier of high-end color monitors and is committed to producing an
ergonomic and technologically advanced product. DX models are available
now and the Estimated Retail Price is $449 for the DX15F and $799 for the
DX17F.
