May 23, 1994 -- Montreal, Canada -- Effective at Comdex Spring 94, Matrox
significantly drops prices on its MGA Ultima Series for VL and PCI. The
MGA Ultima for PCI 2MB VRAM is now priced at $449 while the MGA Ultima for
VLB is now $499. The MGA Ultima Plus for PCI bus, upgradable from 2MB to
4MB VRAM, is available for $499 while the MGA Ultima Plus for VL Bus is
$549. The 2MB memory upgrade for the MGA Ultima Plus is $250. The MGA
Ultima Plus 200, now priced at $999, offers users up to 16.7 million
colors at 1152 x 882 incorporating a 200mhz DAC for a completely flicker
free environment. The proven MGA Ultima Series 64-bit graphics
accelerators offers mainstream Windows, CAD and Multimedia users
award-winning performance and productivity features for their graphically
intensive applications.
