MFJ Announces Notes VIP Integration in OverQuota

Adds sophisticated graphing and pop-up calendar capabilities to highly
acclaimed Notes-based sales force automation product

NEW YORK, June 28th, 1994 - MFJ International today announced Notes ViP
integration with their Lotus Notes-based sales automation product,
OverQuota, providing users with thousands of dynamic graphing options of
their sales and lead information, and user friendly pop-up calendars on
all their Notes forms. OverQuota is the most substantial Notes-based sales
force automation products available today, and the incorporation of Notes
ViP extends the power of the product by allowing users to visually
represent their Notes-based information in ways that give the data more
moaning. With the addition of graphing capabilities, users can view sales
information in more meaningful ways than with simple views.

OverQuota is a mobile team-oriented sales automation solution that fully
leverages the advanced capabilities of Lotus Notes, the standard in
groupware technology. The system organizes and tracks sales opportunities
throughout the entire sales cycle. Advanced forecasting and revenue
leveling capabilities give marketing, sales management, product
development and field sales reps important information on product sales
and competitive trends. The addition of graphs to OverQuota extends these
capabilities by giving the users important new ways to see this
information - ways that uncover hidden trends that might otherwise go
unnoticed.

"MFJ International has leveraged Notes ViP to build impressive new
capabilities into their already outstanding Sales Force Automation
product, OverQuota," said Jeff Papows, Vice President, Notes Product
Division, Lotus Development Corp. "The product gives users exciting new
ways to graphically represent sales forecasts."

Provides value across the organization

The graphing capabilities in OverQuota provide value throughout the
enterprise. Sales managers use graphs to analyze sales trends across
regions, product lines, and industries.

Marketing analysts use graphs to spot trends across product lines and
marketing efforts to make better decisions on market positioning and lead
generation activities. Sales reps use graphs to see their pipeline and
proactively respond to changes in lead volumes, spot bottlenecks, and
estimate future revenues.

From Notes, users start the graphing engine by clicking a Lotus SmartIcon
provided with OverQuota. Selection and ordering information are provided
through pull-down menues in the Notes ViP application. ViP retrieves the
relevant information directly from the Notes sales activity database, and
dynamically produces a graph of the results. Users are given the ability
to modify the graph format on the fly, and graph definitions can be saved
and recalled later.

"ViP has provided us with the missing component in our product development
strategy. We intend to leverage ViP in many ways within our Notes product
line. ViP is redefining the possibilities of Notes-base applications, and
especially packaged solutions like OverQuota," says Jean-Pierre Ducondi,
Vice President of R&D for MFJ International.

"The ability to deliver this functionality to all our Notes customers is a
critical component in our decision to embrace ViP.

Pricing, Availability and Platform Support

The OverQuota graphing module will be immediately available to existing
OverQuota customers upon release of Notes ViP, with general release
scheduled 30 days after release of Notes ViP. It will be delivered as a
part of the core product at no additional cost. At initial shipment, the
graphing engine will run on Microsoft Windows 3.1 with support for UNIX,
Macintosh, OS/2 and MS-DOS to follow based on Notes ViP support of these
platforms.
