NOMDA/LANDA Convention Seminars Cover Range of Technology, Business
Subjects

Kansas City, Mo. (May 11, 1994) -- NOMDA/LANDA has put together a
multitrack seminar program for its upcoming Las Vegas convention to
address the different educational needs of the evolving office equipment
and network computing industries.

The association's International Business Expo '94, July 12-15 at the Las
Vegas Convention Center, is presented in conjunction with NOPA, the
National Office Products Association.

A special Network Technology track will feature seminars for high-end CARs
on LAN disaster avoidance and recovery programs, vertical market
opportunities in networking, wide area networks and remote network
management.

Office automation dealers will find seminars on business equipment sales
strategies, the future of the copier business and facilities management,
in tracks for Sales and Management and 90's Strategies.

There is also a General Interest track designed for any business audience,
which includes presentations on service improvements through
communication, time management, and advertising and public relations.

"NOMDA/LANDA recognizes the multi-layered needs for information and
education on technology and general business management in our industry
today," said Leon Carter, the association's president. "Our convention
seminar schedule addresses the needs of highend VARs to learn about
opportunities in the complex, rapidly changing network computing business.
We're also offering sessions to help copier dealers understand market
changes in that end of the business, and to grow their business with
connectivity products."

Here are the highlights of the educational program:

Network Technology Track - Creating and Staffing Client Support Systems
with Dave Brambert, senior editor of LAN Magazine and editor of Stacks;
