Personal Travel Technologies Introduces P-NAV, an Advanced Personal
Navigation System, Reasonably Priced

NEW YORK CITY, June 29, 1994 Personal Travel Technologies, Inc., developer
of innovative computer-based, personal navigation systems for business and
personal use, unveiled its newest product today--P-NAV, a personal
navigator--at PC Expo,

P-NAV is the first personal navigation software product to combine
navigable maps with four key features:

* complete cross-country driving directions and in-city driving
directions for 40 major US metropolitan areas, so users can
  select a destination and determine the best route to travel;
* mobile yellow page listings (hotels, restaurants, ATMs,
  shops, etc.);
* Global Positioning System (GPS) locating and tracking, so
users can track their position on the map; and
* voice output to talk users through the directions every step
  of the way.

Price-wise, in comparison to other personal navigation system products,
P-NAV sells for a reasonable $149.95, with Navigation Databases
(individual cities) ranging from $69.95 to $99.95 (suggested retail
price).

"Having P-NAV on your portable computer eliminates the day-to-day hassles
of business travel, because it. provides you with all the information you
require to get from point A to point B," said Allan Danns, president and
CEO of Personal Travel Technologies. "It also gives you the details on
products and services you might need along the way and at your final
destination.

"If cellular phones, fax machines and overnight delivery have changed the
way we do business, then P-NAV will change the way business travels,"
Danns added. P-NAV was recently selected for inclusion in the Consumer
Electronics Show Innovations '94 Software Showcase.

P-NAV comes complete with a navigable map of North America and a sample
Navigation Database of Palo Alto and Menlo Park, CA. Unlike other
computer-based reference or direction systems, P-NAV guides drivers to
their destinations with both on-screen maps and text directions. Because
P-NAV's Navigation Database "smart maps" are specifically designed for
navigation, and aren't just overlays of census maps or other government
publications, such key information as one-way streets and turn
restrictions are included. P-NAV also provides approximate mileage and
travel time.

And, for business travelers who need to know where the nearest Italian
restaurant is or if there's a 24-hour pharmacy in town, P-NAV features
mobile yellow pages. These listings contain all the products and services
users would need while on the road: banks and ATMs, hotels, restaurants,
shops, gas stations, 24-hour services, offices, schools and colleges, and
much more.

According to Danns, while P-NAV will undoubtedly prove most attractive to
business travelers who want to save time and reduce travel-related stress,
vacationers will also benefit from using P-NAV.

"If you want to drive with the kids from New York City to Orlando, you can
use P-NAV to easily find the most direct route to take and any attractions
along the way," said Danns. "P-NAV will also provide you with listings of
city hotels and restaurants, so you don't have to worry about the perils
of being stuck in a strange place at odd hours with no one to turn to for
information."

Headquartered on Long Island, Personal Travel Technologies (PTT) was formed
in 1991 by Danns to develop and market a family of computer-based,
personal navigation systems and services. He was subsequently joined in
the venture by Data General founder Edson DeCastro and Richard Scott,
former publisher of Fodor's Travel Guides. PTT launched Personal Travel
Guide (PTG) in September of 1993. While PTG offers the same features as
P-NAV (navigable maps, GPS, mobile yellow pages and voice output) it
provides public transit directions, language translations and detailed
travel guides for each metropolitan area (San Francisco and Sacramento are
available today, with additional metro areas coming later this year).

P-NAV and PTG are Windows-based and run on any IBM-compatible PC with 4 MB
RAM with hard disk space; they are available from many local software
dealers or by calling PTT direct at 1-800-349-1231; fax (516) 877-1240.
