shipping Primavera Project Planner for Windows, a comprehensive project
management software package featuring Object Linking and Embedding (OLE)
and ReportSmith for Primavera.

Primavera Project Planner for Windows includes features in Primavera's
high-end DOS project management package, Primavera Project Planner 5.1,
plus the hourly scheduling features of Primavera's Finest Hour 5.1. The
product supports multi-user operations on the project database with record
locking that enables simultaneous planning, analysis, updating,  reporting
and graphics. The DOS and Windows versions of Primavera Project Planner
are interoperable providing full record locking for simultaneous access to
the same project data. Primavera Project Planner for Windows' OLE
capabilities provide users with greater options for project planning and
new perspectives on project data, making it easier for users to understand
project performance and to do what-if analysis.

Optimization for the Windows Environment: Primavera Project Planner for
Windows allows users to organize project information using work breakdown
structures, collapsible outlining, multi-level indentation using activity
codes, resources and even dates as the structural framework. By switching
quickly among saved layouts, Primavera Project Planner for Windows gives
users the ability to create views of the project from many perspectives.
The product's object orientation lets users attach graphic objects to any
activity so that as the layout is reorganized, the objects move
automatically with the activity.

In each layout, the user can filter activities and show data simultaneously
in tables, bar charts, histograms and logic diagrams. Activity details of
resources, predecessors and budgets can be modified within any layout.
Multiple schedules can be compared simultaneously to show progress,
targets and slippage. Display parameters are controlled by the user.
Primavera Project Planner for Windows supports matchlined, multi-page
output to all devices including pen plotters using its own high speed
drivers.

Primavera Project Planner for Windows supports data exchange with
cooperating Windows applications. Primavera publishes an exchange format
for this private data type. The product also integrates with other
Primavera products such as Parade, performance measurement; Monte Carlo,
risk analysis; SureTrak Project Scheduler; and Expedition, contract
administration; for expanded project management and control.

Reporting: Primavera Project Planner for Windows features ReportSmith for
Primavera for advanced reporting. ReportSmith integrates reporting and
query, allowing users to view data and create reports in the same simple
interface. ReportSmith for Primavera facilitates report customization by
allowing users to move and sort data, edit report contents and layout,
perform instant summaries and more. Report layouts may be customized,
saved and shared among projects. It also gives users complete control of
font size, type and color for all data and texts included in each report.
ReportSmith for Primavera's WYSIWYG graphics provide output of activity,
resource and cost data as it appears on screen.

In addition to ReportSmith, Primavera Project Planner for Windows offers
its own custom report writer, which requires no programming. More than 200
standard reports and graphics are delivered with the product, which may be
run individually or in user-definable series to expedite production. All
reports and graphics can be saved, stored and previewed in Primavera
Project Planner for Windows' drawing canvas. The Draw feature is a full
blown colorful tool set and canvas for drawing symbols, applying text
using fonts, shapes, and colors, and even applying and attaching clipart

Multiproject Scheduling: Primavera Project Planner for Windows also
supports multiproject control, allowing multiple projects to be displayed
on screen simultaneously. This facilitates copy-and-paste among projects
reducing data entry time. Master projects can also contain subprojects.
The product supports unlimited relationships across subprojects for
supporting multi-disciplinary teams. Scheduling, resource leveling and
smoothing can be performed within individual subproJects, or across the
master project. Priority coding helps resolve resource conflicts and
staffing limits.

Object Linking & Embedding: Primavera Project Planner for Windows offers
industry standard linking technology, OLE, which allows users to establish
links and transfer information with other OLE-compliant applications.
Users can essentially cut and paste segments or whole documents and attach
them to selected activities. OLE fosters more sophisticated project
tracking and reporting by placing specific details and relevant documents
from outside sources at users' fingertips. In addition to documents,
spreadsheets and other applications, OLE allows users to attach voice
annotation and photographs to project activities.

Help and Tutorials: Animated tutorials guide users through common sequences
for drawing relationships, adding activities and other fundamentals.
First-time project schedulers can use the P3 Fast Lessons tutorial to
familiarize themselves with project management concepts and terminology.
The context sensitive help offered contains colorful examples of reports,
layouts and calculations. Help contains a glossary and the documentation
contains a project management handbook as a ready reference to underlying
concepts.

The product requires a Windows-capable PC with 486 processor, 8MB of RAM,
MS-DOS 5.0 (or greater). LAN support for the product includes NetWare,
Vines, LANtastic, LAN Manager, LanServer, Pathworks and Windows for
Workgroups. Primavera Project Planner for Windows supports Btrieve NLM for
client-server environments.

Primavera Project Planner for Windows is priced at $4,000. The price
includes a full year of technical hotline support, Primavera's technical
newsletter, updates and enhancements, as well as full documentation.
Primavera Project Planner and Finest Hour users under current maintenance
contract will automatically receive Primavera Project Planner for Windows
