RELAY SIGNS AGREEMENTS WITH SOFNET & AMERICA ONLINE

Relay/PC To Include FaxWorks & 10 Hours America Online For Same Low Cost

Vienna, VA -- April 25, 1994 -- Relay Technology, Inc., developers of
comprehensive PC-based data communications software, has signed agreements
with SofNet, Inc., Marietta, GA and America Online, Inc., Vienna, VA. The
agreement with SofNet puts a copy of FaxWorks 3.0, fax software for
Windows, into every box of Relay/PC for Windows 6.0; the agreement with
America Online provides purchasers of Relay/PC with an America Online
starter kit good for 10 free hours of the online service.

Relay's President Bruce Mancinelli said, "This will give Relay/PC
purchasers the high-performance faxing capabilities needed for even more
comprehensive communications ability. And, the 10 free hours of America

With the addition of FaxWorks 3.0, Relay/PC users get easy to use,
Windows-based fax performance letting them send and receive faxes in the
background; combine pages from multiple Windows applications; insert,
delete, swap, merge and arrange pages in any order; view unlimited number
of fax pages; rotate faxes 90, 180 or 270 degrees; zoom entire pages or
selected areas with thumbnail views; send/receive logs with multiple
sorting options; import graphics; view any PCX, DCX, TIFF or Group-4
compressed file format.

America Online is the nation's fastest growing provider of online services,

Relay/PC is available through the distribution channel at a suggested
retail price of $99. Registered users who have purchased the product
January 1, 1994 or later are eligible to receive FaxWorks 3.0 for Windows
and the 10 free hours of America Online at no additional cost.

Relay/PC for Windows 6.0 was released January 1994 to give users not
needing sophisticated coax, TCP/IP connections to a mainframe (i.e., small
business, mobile and home PC users) the same functionality in a
communications package as the Company's corporate communication solution,
Relay/PC Gold.

bi-directional transmission, allowing the user to send and receive data at
