RELAY/PC GOLD FOR WINDOWS LAN PROVIDES TOTAL CONNECTIVITY FOR UP TO 999
USERS IN A SINGLE PACKAGE

Vienna, VA -- May 4, 1994 -- Relay Technology, Inc., headquartered in
Vienna, Virginia, is featuring the LAN version of their premier corporate
communications package, Relay/PC Gold for Windows 6.0.

The powerful PC-to-host and PC-to-PC connectivity software can be expanded
to accommodate up to 999 users with a single package. Each LAN module
allows company-wide access, with up to five users able to share the
program simultaneously.

"IS and network managers really like having a single installation," says
Bruce R. Mancinelli, president and CEO of Relay. "It saves on costs, hard
disk space and, best of all, time spent on maintenance, since along with
upgrades, it can be done in one place at the same time," he added.
"Moreover, Relay/PC Gold gives true cross-platform, enterprise-wide
dependable connectivity."

Relay/PC Gold is a powerful, Windows-based communications software package
with support for a wide variety of connectivity paths, including TCP/IP
open networking protocol. The product provides comprehensive connectivity
to host systems (including mainframes, any UNIX host and DEC computers),
standalone or LAN-based PCs, bulletin boards and on-line information
services.

The LAN version lets users share a single copy, although it appears as
though they are running their own. Each "copy" is personalized by
configuring individual requirements and preferences. The Relay LAN
Administrator facility allows network managers to monitor active users and
control user access.

Relay/PC Gold features fast, reliable error-free file and data transfer,
true 3270 emulation for accessing MVS, VM or VSE mainframe applications
and other terminal emulation for PCs interfacing to other host computers
such as UNIX and DEC. Because it supports a full range of desktop, laptop
and notebook PCs, Relay/PC Gold lets companies standardize on a single PC
communications software package for the entire enterprise. Moreover, it
supports an exceptionally wide variety of connections -- far beyond any of
its competitors -- including nearly 250 modems, 3270 coaxial adapters and
network gateways, including Novell's NetWare for SM.

Relay/PC Gold for Windows LAN carries a suggested retail price of $1595;
each additional five-user module is $1200. A DOS version lists for $1250;
each additional five-user module at $845. The single user version of
Relay/PC for Windows retails for $399. Various trade-in, "credit" and
up-grade policies are in effect. Available through distribution, Relay/PC
Gold LAN is also sold direct; site licensing is available.
