Drive multiple monitors with one (or two) CPU's

May 16, 1994 -- Rose Electronics' Video Splitter is a plug-and-play
solution to drive several monitors from one CPU. Video Splitter supports
VGA, SVGA, XGA, and XGAII. Models are available with 2, 4, and 8 ports.
Daisy chain video splitters for more monitors. The VSP splitter is simple
to install and operate. Just disconnect the monitor from the computer and
connect it to any of the OUTPUT connectors on the rear of the splitter.
Plug a cable into the computer's video output port, and the INPUT
connector of the splitter. To add a remote monitor, install an extension
cable between any of the remaining OUTPUT(S) of the VSP and the remote
monitor. Select either of two CPU's from the front panel.

Applications include classrooms, conference rooms, point of sale, process
control, and security systems. In addition, the operating distance between
the computer and its monitor is extended to 200 feet, allowing you to
relocate monitors conveniently. Available options include rack mount kits,
220VAC power adapters, and cables, as well as an extended distance cable
to connect CPU's up to 200' away. Video Splitter models are priced at
$395, $495, and $895.
