One keyboard, monitor, and mouse controls 2 to 256 CPU's

June 20, 1994 -- Rose Electronics' ServeView is a plug-and-play solution to
end the keyboard and monitor clutter experienced when multiple CPU's or
network and gateway servers are used. Benefits include reduced power
consumption, heat, radiation, and physical space, and significant cost
savings. Select any CPU from the keyboard, front panel, or remotely from
the RS232 serial port. ServeView's scan mode, allows sequential scanning
of the CPU's, with programmable time interval. ServeView supports VGA,
SVGA, XGA, XGAII, EGA, CGA, and monochrome, any keyboard, serial RS-232
mouse or PS/2 mouse, and any mixture of IBM PS/2's, Compaq's, and
compatible's, with error free rebooting.

ServeView is available with 2, 4, 8, 12, or 16 ports. A 4 port expansion
unit allows a 4 port unit to expand to 8,12 or 16. Units can be
daisy-chained to support up to 256 computers. Front panel LED's indicate
each server's power-on status and which server is selected. The unit has a
long list of features to support trouble-free operation. Available options
include rack mount kits, 220VAC power adapters, and cables, as well as an
extended distance cable to connect CPU's up to 200' away. ServeView models
are priced from $595 to $1995.
