SALESKIT SOFTWARE SHOWCASES V5.0 FOR MACINTOSH WITH SUPPORT FOR NEW APPLE
POWERBOOK

Sales Force Automation Software Provides Connectivity to SQL Databases
Remotely with the PowerBook

June 28, 1994. New York. NY. SalesKit Software announced today the newest
version of their comprehensive sales force automation solution, SalesKit
Version 5.0 for Macintosh. SalesKit V5.0 for Macintosh supports AppleTalk
networks, TCP/IP, IPX, or peer-to-peer protocols locally or remotely
through Ethernet connections. SalesKit fully supports the entire Apple
Macintosh product line, including the newly announced range of Apple
PowerBooks.

SalesKit Software is a cross-platform sales information delivery system
that supports DOS, Windows or Macintosh platforms. V5.0 for Macintosh
enables field sales personnel to directly access industry's leading SQL
databases via Mac-to-Windows, Mac-to-Mac or Mac-to-DOS communications.
Information may be accessed on the desktop or via portable computers
providing users the ability to customize front end screens to access data
such as customer databases, inventory levels, electronic mail, order entry
systems and other critical corporate data from a mainframe, midrange or
local area network host computers.

Utilizing a concept called 'Team Selling', SalesKit administrators can
provide access and distribute corporate data through a rules-based
transaction system that will synchronize remote data with the corporate
database via AppleTalk Remote Access (ARA). ARA also provides the ability
to deliver and accept industry-standard electronic mail through one remote
dial-in connection. Team Selling allows data to be distributed to specific
teams associated with each part of the sales and marketing process, rather
than a traditional hierarchical approach.

"SalesKit V5.0 for Macintosh is a powerful productivity tool for
corporations that need to coordinate remote sales and marketing activities
with the integrated management functions of the home office," said John
Levis, chairman and CEO of SalesKit Software. "SalesKit Software doesn't
require remote or local users to change the way they normally work, or the
tools they use, allowing local and remote teams to share valuable
information, which increases productivity. With SalesKit, a sales manager
using Windows can now send time-critical data to various field locations
without worrying whether the user is Mac-based or DOS-based. This is a
real boon for sales force productivity," Levis continued.

The foundation of SalesKit V5.0 for Macintosh is the SalesKit
Administration Program (SAP), which utilizes drag-and-drop graphical
design. The SAP manages the data stored in the SalesKit Server, which is
an ANSI SQL subset data repository that synchronizes data between the
field and the corporate database. This allows cross-platform operations
between DOS, Windows, and Macintosh operating environments. SalesKit V5.0
will fully support the new Apple PowerBook line of products.

"Apple has seen tremendous acceptance for PowerBook within sales
departments in large organizations," said Kevin Flynn, mobile computer
marketing manager for Apple. "The new Macintosh PowerBooks offer excellent
data communications abilities, ease of use and favorable
price/performance. The combination of the Apple PowerBook with SalesKit
software enables companies to boost revenues by increasing sales force
effectiveness."

Included in SalesKit V5.0 for Macintosh is a powerful scheduling and
calendar module which allows remote users to operate within a true sales
automation environment to synchronize schedules for meetings and other
activities.

Minimum Macintosh hardware requirements include a 68030 processor, 40 MB
hard drive, 6 MB disk space; standard display monitor, Macintosh keyboard;
9600 baud internal modem, 3-hour internal battery and 8 MB RAM. Pricing is
established on a per user basis.

high-end sales force automation tools to Fortune 1,000 companies. Major
