TOSHIBA ANNOUNCES AVAILABILITY OF NOTEWORTHY NEWSCARD DEVELOPER'S KIT

NEW YORK -- June 28, 1994 -- Booth #2660 -- The Computer Systems Division
of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. (TAIS) today announced the
availability of the Noteworthy NewsCard Developer's Kit for Windows-based
portable computing platforms. Produced jointly by Toshiba and Motorola,
the manufacturer of the NewsCard Advanced Information Receiver, the
developer's kit includes development tools and a Noteworthy NewsCard which
is a PCMCIA Type II receiver card that enables mobile professionals to
receive and display wireless messages, E-mail and information updates
directly to their Toshiba portable computers.

wireless solutions, the Noteworthy NewsCard Developer's Kit, available
free of charge, provides a quick and effective tool for ISVs and VARs to
easily develop system applications," stated Steve Lair, vice president of

NewsCard Developer's Kit enables ISVs and VARs to develop programs which
can interact wirelessly with applications running on remote Windows
platforms, such as updating spreadsheets, data bases or calendars, running
on a portable computer.

The Noteworthy NewsCard Developer's Kit, includes a Noteworthy NewsCard
enabled for service on the nationwide SkyTel System, a leather carrying
pouch, Motorola developed software for viewing NewsCard messages on
Windows platforms, full API (application programming interface)
documentation for software development, Windows DLL (Dynamic Linked
