CONNECTWARE INTRODUCES KEMMA RPS

Radiation Protection System Shields Computer Users From Electrical and
Magnetic Radiation

RICHARDSON, Texas, June 12, 1995 -- Connectware Inc., a subsidiary of AMP,
Harrisburg, PA, today announced Kemma RPS, a radiation
protection/anti-glare screen designed to protect computer users from the
potential long-term health effects of very low frequency (VLF) electrical
and magnetic radiation.

Based on proprietary, worldwide patent-pending active magnetic canceling
technology, Kemma RPS greatly reduces the magnetic field around a computer
monitor. The screen was tested at Sweden's prestigious SEMKO accredited
laboratory. This technology is a significant step up from the classic
antiglare screens that stop electrical radiation but do not address the
magnetic field problem.

"According to a recent IEEE Spectrum Magazine article, scientists worldwide
have conducted nearly 100 studies examining the links between
electromagnetic fields at low frequencies and health problems such as
breast cancer, lymphoma, lung cancer, brain cancer, Alzheimer's disease,
leukemia, birth defects and miscarriages," said Tim Sullivan, CEO and
President of Connectware, Inc.

"While the exact level of radiation needed to form a definite health risk
is still undetermined, people who work around electrical and magnetic
fields--particularly women--seem to have statistically greater chances of
developing one of these medical problems. Clearly, the more sources of
radiation we can reduce in our daily lives, the better," Sullivan added.

"Most of us sit between 14" and 26" away from our computer monitors," said
Ivan Darius, Ph.D. and Co-Inventor. "At that distance, even modern
monitors that comply with Sweden's tough MPR II electric and magnetic
emissions radiation standards allow a significant amount of radiation to
reach the user. With this screen, users can dramatically decrease the
amount of VLF radiation emitted from their monitors. Our tests in Sweden
confirmed a reduction of VLF magnetic radiation by 85% at 24 inches away
and up to 99% at 40 inches away."

Kemma RPS easily installs over 14 and 15 inch monitors. Electronics at the
top of the unit control radiation emissions. Larger screen versions will
be available in the near future. Currently priced at $199, the screen is
available today.
