PC EXPO, NEW YORK CITY--June 20, 1995--InTEXT Systems, a leading provider
of intelligent Internet development tools, announces the availability of
the InTEXT WebPak, the world's first suite of products and tools for
adding intelligence to Web-based document publishing, routing, retrieval,
natural language querying, summarizing and index reduction. Combining a
Windows-based automated publishing environment, Web-ready applications for
rapid deployment and a well-versed combination of Software Developer's
Kits (SDKs), the InTEXT WebPak provides Web-site developers with
intelligent tools for quickly deploying advanced Web-based applications.

"InTEXT's commitment to providing uniquely intelligent tools for Internet
and Web content management is paying off for developers and
organizations," said Richard Jones, InTEXT's Vice President of R&D. "This
exciting new kit helps organizations quickly create intelligent Web sites,
publish Web pages at the click of a button and efficiently leverage their
information assets in the on-line world."

InTEXT is the first Internet tools provider ever to offer an intelligent
WebPak that is based on a scalable, content-understanding architecture.
Using the WebPak, application developers can build Web publishing sites
that support popular Web browsers, such as Netscape and Mosaic, WAIS and
Z39.50-compliant Internet clients and leading full-text retrieval
databases. These Web site applications can support several unique
capabilities, including free-form English user queries, live document
routing, real-time summarization, content-based searching,
relevancy-ranked retrieval, accelerated indexing, automatic hyperlink and
keyword generation and automatic Web creation.

The InTEXT WebPak products and SDKs are based on InTEXT Systems'
Heuristic/Learning architecture that analyzes document surface structures
to gain content knowledge of live and stored information. This powerful
architecture enables delivery of a dynamic system that automatically
retrieves, ranks and summarizes crucial on-line data. This unique
architecture makes the InTEXT technology critical tools for the highly
interactive and changing content of on-line information systems.

The InTEXT WebPak Environment Includes:

Automated Windows-Based Web Publishing Package--Out-of-the-box Windows
product that automates the process of "building Webs" using hypertext
linking, summary generation and HTML conversion technology. It also holds
source documents in both native word processing formats and HTML. This
environment is key in simplifying Web and CD-ROM-based document
publishing.

Object Router Intelligent Content Agent SDK--Unique on-line routing API for
filtering Usenet News, e-mail and information updates in

word processor document formats to HTML.
