KODAK DIGITAL SCIENCE SOLUTIONS SHOWCASED AT PC EXPO

NEW YORK CITY, June 20, 1995--Visitors to Kodak's booth (#2450) at PC Expo
this year will see the company's latest digital imaging products:

* Kodak Digital Science camera 40--a point-and-shoot camera, priced under
$1000 and designed for business users who want to add pictures to reports,
overhead cels and other compound documents quickly and easily. The Digital
Science camera 40 is now shipping with Windows software; anyone who
purchases the camera 40 at the show will receive a free camera bag.

* Kodak Digital Science photo insert software--designed to make it as easy
to add photographs to a document as it is to cut-and-paste text. Photo CD
service providers will begin writing the new software onto Photo CD master
discs along with a customer's scanned images later this year. (See
separate release in this kit.)

"All of the Kodak Digital Science products showcased at PC Expo are
evidence of our commitment to drive Photo CD technology beyond imaging
professionals to the typical, desktop applications found within small
office/home office markets," explained Carl Gustin, vice president and
general manager of Kodak's Digital and Applied Imaging organization.
"Kodak Digital Science solutions make it fast, simple and affordable for
all levels of computer users to effectively use images in their business
communications."

As part of its new digital imaging strategy, Kodak has adopted a
distinctive brand mark to extend the value of the Kodak brand to digital
products and services.

The Kodak Digital Science brand, which will be prominently displayed at the
booth, will clearly differentiate Kodak from other players in the digital
imaging marketplace. The new brand mark signifies the leadership Kodak's
role will play in the digital arena, based on its heritage of scientific
breakthrough in imaging. The new Kodak Digital Science logo will be
featured on hardware, software and services--on a phased-in basis.

At PC Expo, the company also plans to introduce desktop users to the Kodak
forum on CompuServe as well as its new Home Page on the World Wide Web. A
special demonstration will show users how easy it is to find on-line
product and technical support information. There will be a technology
demonstration explaining how users could access both low- and
high-resolution Photo CD images across the Internet.

Other Kodak Digital Science Products Shown

In addition, personal computer users will also see a number of other Kodak
Digital Science products, including: high-resolution digital cameras, film
scanners, thermal dye printers, Photo CD software, CD writers, disc
transporters and automated CD libraries.

* Professional Digital Cameras--In addition to the Digital Science camera
40, Kodak is showing a number of other high-resolution digital cameras:

--The DCS 420 camera, based on the Nikon N90 body, is a 1.5 megapixel
device with high image quality, ease of use and portability.

--The DCS 460, also based on the Nikon N90 body, is the first digital
camera to bring multi-megapixel image quality to a 35 mm single-lens
reflex camera. It offers 36-bit color and a total resolution of 6 million
pixels.

--The EOS * DCS 5, developed in cooperation with Canon and based upon the
Canon EOS 1 N camera, features 36-bit color, PCMCIA storage and high-speed
image capture. Anyone purchasing an EOS * DCS 5 camera at the show will
receive a PCMCIA card at no additional cost.

* Film Scanners--In addition to digital cameras, several of the Kodak
Digital Science high-end film scanners will be shown. The RFS 2035 plus
film scanner is designed specifically for 35 mm film images, while the RFS
3570 scanner digitizes negatives and transparencies as large as 70 mm.
Both provide a number of features, including variable scanning
resolutions, high speed, exceptional color depth and outstanding image
quality.

* Thermal Dye Printers--The family of Kodak Digital Science thermal dye
digital printers is designed to let users print page-sized color
transparencies or photo-quality prints, quickly and affordably.

--Priced under $7500, the XLS 8400 PS printer uses PostScript level 2 page
description language, licensed from Adobe Systems Inc., to allow users to
work with most popular software packages for presentations and desktop
publishing.

--The XLS 8600 PS printer prints both Adobe PostScript level 2 language and
raster image files, providing easy output--in a single device--from
virtually all presentation and image-editing software for under $9000. (A
raster-only model, the XLS 8600, also is available.) Both models offer the
fastest "line time" of any thermal dye printers--printing an 8-x 10-inch
color image in just 71 seconds after processing. The printers can produce
page-sized prints with a full 8 1/2- x 11-inch or A4 image area, and
transparencies with an image area up to 8 x 12 inches.

* Inkjet Media--Kodak's new premium-quality paper--including a
medium-weight and a heavy-weight offering--and transparency film are
designed to enhance the output from most models of inkjet printers. The
new inkjet media is based on Kodak photographic paper stock--similar to
that used to make photographic prints--which is coated with a proprietary
material. The coating allows inks to dry quickly, and results in bold,
vibrant colors and sharp monochrome images. Sample packs of Kodak's inkjet
media will be available at the show.

* Kodak Digital Science Photo CD Products--The newest Photo CD products
make it easy and affordable for small business users to take advantage of
advanced technology.

--Build-it software is used to write Photo CD portfolio II discs--a disc
format that contains Photo CD Image Pac files and other digital content.
The software is targeted at multimedia presentations, image archiving and
CD slide show applications.

--The Photo CD portable player N2000 is designed for playback of Photo
CD-based presentations. It fits easily in a briefcase, offers fast
transitions between images and enhanced flexibility for "on-the-go"
presentations. These two products plus the photo imaging workstation (PIW)
4220 are shipping and available worldwide.

* Writable CD Products--Kodak offers a number of writable CD packages which
bundle the PCD writer 225 with Kodak Digital Science CD authoring software
for PC and Macintosh platforms and disc transporters--for hands-free
duplication of up to 75 discs. Purchase any Kodak writable CD desktop
system for DOS/Windows, Macintosh or Sun at the show and receive 5 Kodak
writable CDs. As an added incentive to purchase the company's CD writable
media, Kodak will offer $200 off a purchase of 8 boxes of 25 or a bulk
pack of 200 writable CDs with the InfoGuard protection system.

* CD Jukebox Products--For high volume image access, several jukebox
products, including the professional image library 30 and a new product
for network operations called Kodak Digital Science CD jukebox library
will be shown. The PIL 30 provides on-line access to 10,000 CD-based
images for Windows and Macintosh platforms. The newly announced,
Windows-based CD jukebox library, which includes the CD jukebox manager
server, V1.5, features on-line access of up to 10 jukeboxes per server and
up to 160,000 images. Access time is just under 6 seconds per image.
