Pavone of America Announces and Ships GroupFlow

New Graphical Tools for Building Workflow Applications in Lotus Notes

New York, NY, June 20, 1995 - Pavone of America today announced the
availability of GroupFlow, a suite of breakthrough products that allow
Lotus Notes users to build, modify and simulate sophisticated applications
to move work through even the most dynamic organizations. GroupFlow gives
users a simple way to create complex Notes workflow applications in
minutes.

GroupFlow's graphical tools simplifies the development of sophisticated
work flow applications. By treating work, and the relationships between
tasks, as visual objects, GroupFlow allows designers to model and evaluate
work flow processes. The ability to change applications and work flows by
moving visual objects frees designers from the programming tasks and lets
them concentrate on improving business processes. Simply by saving a work
flow model the designer generates a complete, unmodified Notes
application.

"GroupFlow is a great example of the powerful tools our Business Partners
are developing for Lotus Note users," said Jeff Papows, Vice President, of
Lotus Communications Business Group. "By leveraging the inherent workflow
capabilities of Notes, users will be able to easily develop the high-ROI
applications which makes Notes a platform for streamlining
mission-critical business processes."

GroupFlow is also designed to meet the real-world needs of users by
extending the capabilities of Notes. Rather than force companies to change
their processes and adopt rigid, pre-defined work flow models, GroupFlow
allows users to design applications that reflect their unique
organizations.

According to Brian Barker, President of Pavone of America, "GroupFlow
mimics real life. Real business processes are neither totally structured
or completely unstructured. Instead they are a mix of both. GroupFlow
reflects that mix, letting users develop work flows while still evolving
their processes as business needs change."

Because applications created by GroupFlow are unmodified Lotus Notes
applications, no additional servers or platforms are required by users.
GroupFlow runs seamlessly in any Notes environment, with minimal
training.

Workflow designers use the Graphic Modeler, which costs $1950 for quantity
one. GroupFlow runtimes range in price from $120 to $40 based on
quantity.
