RCI MasterConsole Now Controls Any Mix of 2 to 64 PCs, Suns and Macs

RCI (Raritan Computer Inc.) will be debuting its new Guardian series of
emulator/converter devices for PC, Macintosh and Sun computers. These
devices will enable any mix of 2 to 64 computers - PCs, Macs and Suns - to
be controlled from a single PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse and VGA monitor
using RCI's MasterConsole.

Over thirty thousand MasterConsoles are in operation controlling multiple
PCs used as network servers, bridges, gateways and dial-up computers,
eliminating the clutter and expense of excess equipment, saving space and
improving productivity through central server management. Now, using
Guardian for Sun and Guardian for Mac Network Managers and Software
Developers can reliably operate any combination of Suns and Macs, as well
as PCs from one keyboard, mouse and monitor.

Guardian devices measure approximately 3" x 4" x 1" and plug into the Sun
or Mac keyboard/mouse and video ports. They automatically emulate and
convert the peripheral signals to PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse and VGA video
ports, to connect MasterConsole cable and operate all computers with one
keyboard, mouse and VGA monitor.

Guardian for Sun and Guardian for Mac are both priced at $150 and will ship
in July.
