RIGHTFAX INTRODUCES LATEST GENERATION FAX SERVER SOFTWARE FOR WINDOWS NT
AND OS/2

RightFAX NT and RightFAX 4.0 Designed to Fill Growing Demand for
Multi-Platform Computer-Based Fax Applications

TUCSON, Ariz. (4/21/95) -- To expedite communications for mid-size to
Fortune 1000 companies using IBM OS/2 and Microsoft Windows NT computing
platforms, RightFAX, Tucson, Ariz., has introduced a new generation of
high performance fax server software.

RightFAX, one of the world's largest fax server software developers, is the
first to ship a true NT service-based fax server for the Windows NT
operating system with RightFAX for Windows NT. Additionally, through the
debut of RightFAX 4.0, the company has significantly expanded the
functionality of its award-winning RightFAX 3.5 offering for computing
environments utilizing Novell and LAN Server. Both of the new software
packages are true multi-tasking and multi-threaded local area network fax
server software products that allow users to send and receive faxes
directly from network workstations.

RightFAX software also increases productivity and reduces costs through the
elimination of time delays associated with manual faxing. The
multi-platform capabilities of the software, another RightFAX competitive
advantage, allows for multiple network environments including Novell
NetWare, Microsoft LAN Manager, IBM LAN Server and Windows NT networks to
improve business communication.

NEW OFFERINGS NOW SHIPPING

RightFAX NT is now available for $1995 (server license for a single
channel, unlimited users); and $1295 for each additional channel. RightFAX
4.0 is now available for $995 (server license for a single channel,
unlimited users); and $795 for each additional channel. Upgrades from
RightFAX 3.5 to 4.0 are available for $495 and $295 for the extended
e-mail gateway.

"RightFAX NT is a timely introduction since the NT operating system has
become the emerging platform of choice. It offers enterprise performance
at an affordable rate and the RightFAX NT fax server is likely to offer
the speed and reliability that makes it a short-list must," said Pete
Davidson, president of industry analyst firm Davidson Consulting, Burbank,
Calif. "As the number of applications seeking LAN fax server solutions
increase simultaneously with the increase in Windows NT installations,
RightFAX NT strengthens RightFAX's position as a key provider in the
computer-based fax industry."

COMPANY EXTENDS INNOVATIVE REPUTATION WITH ADVANCED FEATURES

RightFAX NT is a true 32-bit LAN fax server software solution that allows
any workstation on a Windows NT network to send and receive faxes.
Documents are efficiently converted from application output to fax format
at the fax server, thus eliminating time consuming conversion at the
workstation. Due to RightFAX's true client/server architecture, all
functions including conversions, record maintenance and printing services
can be done at the fax server. In addition, RightFAX NT is integrated with
the network messaging system eliminating the need to install a specific
program to execute communication between the fax server and the user.

"RightFAX has always prided itself on being an innovator in the fax server
software market," said Bradley Feder, president and co-founder of
RightFAX. "New technologies are continually required to keep businesses
communicating effectively. RightFAX's new product generation will more
than meet the needs of users seeking computer-based fax solutions that
integrate smoothly into their current or newly installed network operating
systems."

NETWARE 4.0 DIRECTORY SUPPORT INCLUDED

RightFAX's fax server software has always been able to read from the
bindery for Novell networks. Through RightFAX's NetWare 4.0 Directory
Services support, the 4.0 version of the company's software can now read
from NetWare Directory Services (NDS) enabling user information, such as
full names and I.D. numbers, to be imported directly and expediently from
the network. This technology enables new users on the RightFAX system to
be dynamically added via the NDS. As a result, users achieve speedy
retrieval of information which significantly reduces the time involved in
the fax process. In addition, administration can easily import user
information into the RightFAX system.

NATIVE IPX PROTOCOL SMOOTHES NETWARE CONNECTION

The RightFAX fax server now communicates directly with RightFAX clients
working on NetWare networks through utilization of the NetWare IPX
protocol within NetWare to negate NetWare connection problems.

FAX SERVER NOW STORES IMAGE FILES

RightFAX's new generation product line enables files to be stored on the
fax server's local hard drive which allows users to access the fax server
directly. Since the fax server is a standard workstation on the network,
clients normally do not have peer-to-peer style access to any of the files
or images stored on a fax server. Now, RightFAX fax server can serve files
to clients, allowing NetWare users to communicate directly with the fax
server saving time and creating a more flexible communications process.
Additionally, this development adds built-in security since users will not
have direct access to the fax image files through NetWare. This offering
is differentiated in comparison to other offerings which may require a
separate installed program to enable users to access the server for
viewing faxes.

NEW PRINTING CONTROL FEATURE PROVIDES EASE OF USE

The innovative RightFAX Power-Bar which allows users to work with any
installed PCL-5 or PostScript driver, eliminates the need to change
printers at the control panel or the printer set-up screen. The RightFAX
Power-Bar eases installation enabling users to switch from any installed
print driver to a fax driver by simply clicking on an icon. In addition,
this new feature can be customized to execute any application. The
enhanced RightFAX e-mail gateway allows users to send and receive fax
transmissions directly from e-mail and allows incoming faxes to be
automatically routed to supported e-mail gateways which include Lotus
cc:Mail, Microsoft Mail, Lotus Notes and Novell GroupWise, as well as the
RightFAX Mailbox or network directory. RightFAX 4.0 is the first fax
server software offering to enable users to attach native documents, such
as Word for Windows and WordPerfect, directly to an e-mail message and
have the document converted to a fax. This enhancement offers users
unlimited opportunities to fax various documents since the attachment does
not have to be in a specified format.

RightFAX offers a 60-day warranty for both versions of fax server software,
as well as telephone and on-line support to customers and resellers. The
warranty includes free and unlimited technical support for the first 60
days, as well as a one-year warranty on hardware purchased from RightFAX.

RightFAX, Tucson, Ariz., is one of the world's leading developers of
advanced fax server solutions for mid-size to Fortune 1000 businesses. Its
RightFAX product line, which includes RightFAX fax server software, the
RightFAX E-Mail Gateway, and the RightFAX OCR Module is based on IBM LAN
Server, Novell NetWare, Microsoft LAN Manager and Windows NT networks. It
provides multitasking LAN fax server capabilities and e-mail integration,
and is available through a worldwide network of distributors, VARs and
