IRVINE, Calif. -- June 12, 1995 -- The Computer Systems Division of
Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. (TAIS) today introduced the
Satellite T2110CS, offering an advanced feature set at an affordable
price. Expanding the value-priced Satellite line of notebook computers,
the Satellite T2110CS offers the power of a 75MHz IntelDX4 processor, a
350 million byte (=330MB) hard disk drive and 4MB RAM (expandable to
28MB). Now shipping, the T2110CS has an estimated street price of
$2,299.

Ideal for price-sensitive corporate buyers and those looking for an
affordable portable computer such as students and those who have mobile
workstyles, the Satellite T2110CS offers the ultimate quality, performance
and expandability.

"In addition to a faster CPU speed, the Satellite T2110CS continues to
incorporate a variety of features which made the Satellite Series so
popular," commented Michael Winkler, vice president and general manager
for the Computer Systems Division of Toshiba America Information Systems,
Inc. "Price-sensitive Satellite customers will appreciate the two PC Card
expansion slots, integrated power supply and all the other enhanced
features which come standard."

Satellite T2110CS Key Features

Offering greater computing power, the Satellite T2110CS is equipped with
Toshiba's advanced "Turbo 75" technology, utilizing an IntelDX4 75MHz
microprocessor. Also strengthening performance is a 350 million byte
(=330MB) hard disk drive and 4MB RAM (expandable to 28MB).

Toshiba's "Turbo 75" technology is a sophisticated overall performance
architecture, creating a whole that is greater than the sum of its
components. Design elements include local-bus video, graphics
acceleration, fast-page RAM access, 1MB of video RAM, optimized
gate-arrays and high speed hard drives. Toshiba's state-of-the-art
components combined with Intel's 75MHz DX4 processor are also highly
power-efficient. As a result, Toshiba's optimized "Turbo 75" can
outperform 100MHz competitors while offering better battery life.

A 10.4-inch Dynamic-STN dual-scan color display comes with the T2110CS,
providing brilliant SVGA color at 640 x 480 display resolution. The
enhanced NiMH battery provides 2.5 to 5 hours of battery life. In
addition, Toshiba includes MaxTime Power Management System and 3.3-volt
CPU technology to maximize the notebook's performance.

Design and Ease-of-Use Features

Advanced design is evident in the fully-integrated power supply which
eliminates the need for a bulky AC adapter as well as a fan, which can
consume battery life. A generous 10-foot power cord is all that is
needed, reducing total travel weight to 6.8 pounds. The dimensions of the
Satellite T2110CS are 11.8 inches (W) by 2.1 inches (H) by 8.9 inches
(D).

Expandability is possible through two stacked PC Card slots which
accommodate two Type II or one Type III PC cards. In addition, an
optional port replicator provides easy one-touch connectivity to office
peripherals, providing desktop functionality and expandability both in and
out of the office.

Another popular design feature included with the Satellite T2110CS is the
integrated AccuPoint pointing device. Positioned between the "G" and "H"
keys, it provides quicker application response and less hand fatigue. The
Satellite T2110CS is encased by a stylish gray exterior.

Retail Model Available

Toshiba also markets a retail model known as the Satellite T2115CS
available for purchase through select retail channels including Best Buy,
Circuit City, CompUSA, Computer City and Office Depot. The T2115CS comes
with the standard software which includes DOS 6.22, Windows 3.11 and
Toshiba utilities, but is enhanced with additional software including
Lotus Organizer 2.0, ClarisWorks 3.0 and Quicken SE 1.0, plus a first-time
user video, carrying case and the Toshiba Discovery Center, a powerful yet
easy to use on-line help library.

Pricing, Availability and Distribution

Currently shipping, the Satellite T2110CS has an estimated street price of
$2,299. The Satellite T2110CS will be sold through traditional
distribution channels including value-added resellers, distributors and
dealer channels.
