U.S. ROBOTICS INTRODUCES THE "I-TEAM"

I-Team to Inform Customers About ISDN Tariffing and Availability, Offer
Installation Services and Provide User Support

SKOKIE, Ill., -- June 12, 1995 -- The Corporate/Systems Division of U.S.
Robotics (NASDAQ: USRX) today introduced the "I-Team," a new customer
support group focused on providing presales information, installation
services and support for ISDN products.

The I-Team will establish specialized, ISDN-specific customer support
programs. These programs will include pre-sales information on ISDN
availability and tariffing in the U. S. and Canada, ISDN ordering and
installation services and post-sales support programs.

The I-Team is working closely with local exchange carriers, both to ensure
that information on ISDN availability and tariffing is up-to-date and
accurate, and to ensure that U.S. Robotics products are well-supported at
a regional level. Members of the I-Team have also participated in the
design of installation programs for U.S. Robotics ISDN products, to make
installation as simple as possible. And, the I-Team is responsible for
ensuring interoperability with ISDN products from other manufacturers.

A customer might initially use I-Team services to obtain information about
ISDN tariffing and availability in his area, as well as who to contact to
have ISDN installed. This information would be available through U.S.
Robotics' Web site and fax-on-demand service. When ready to install ISDN,
the customer could use the local contact information provided, or for a
nominal fee, U.S. Robotics will call the provider and arrange ISDN service
for the customer. U.S. Robotics will also offer a variety of post-sale
support programs.

Information on tariffing, availability and contacts for ISDN providers will
be available from U.S. Robotics in early July. The complete portfolio of
I-Team services will be rolled out August 1.
