Magazine's Editor's Choice Help Desk award upholds its reputation as the
"Best of Breeds" solution with a new feature known as NetCensus View. With
this View, DP Umbrella SQL now allows the help desk to view timely
hardware and software inventory information.

Input from existing clients and analysts of the help desk market encouraged
VYCOR to deliver an integration to NetCensus, enhancing an already strong
product. NetCensus, the industry leader in desktop management software
which runs with Microsoft Windows, OS/2, and Macintosh operating systems,
automatically tracks all software and hardware components on a LAN.

With "NetCensus View" in DP Umbrella SQL, all desktop information will be
deposited into a separate window in DP Umbrella SQL for the help desk
operator to view and analyze. This window can be accessed from the Help
Desk Module and will permit the help desk technicians and operators to
view electronically gathered profile data on any selected client or
caller.

Information such as software packages in one or many sites can also be
obtained and viewed in "NetCensus View". Questions such as "who has copies
of Lotus 123 installed?" can be confirmed and licensing vs. installation
information maintained. NetCensus will also detail names and versions of
software migrations and upgrades.
