AMERICAN CYBERCASTING BEGINS INTERNET NEWS SERVICE

February 16, 1994 -- The American Cybercasting Corporation (ACC) of
Cleveland, Ohio has announced the development of a new Internet-based
electronic news service. Any person with an Internet connected electronic
mail account will be able to receive "electronic home delivery" of such
newspapers as: USA Today, Moscow News and in some cases many others.

"For decades people have been predicting the development of electronic news
delivery to the home, school, and office" said Phil Wintering, CEO of
American Cybercasting. "The problem for most people has been, to get
access to it, you had to belong to a large, centralized, commercial
information service containing tons of stuff you neither want nor need."

The ACC electronic home delivery service cuts through that by sending the
news directly to the user via Internet electronic mail. You simply sign-up
for the service and the news starts appearing in your e.mail box each
morning. Because it is in ASCII form, you can easily save the articles you
want, use them for reports and proposals, create databases of quotes, and
so forth.

In addition to personal uses for the service, it is viewed as having
particular application to the K-12 and college communities. For
educational institutions, many more publications are available, including
the Washington Post, Washington Times, Jerusalem Post, Los Angeles Times,
Forbes and many others. To this end, ACC is continuing to develop teacher
guides which tie these electronic publications directly into school
curricula.

Ann Culp, ACC's Director of Education, said: "This service has special
utility for K-12 schools. As more and more schools get connected to the
Internet, they are looking for meaningful uses for the technology. This
service offers a wonderful low-cost way to supplement what the teacher is
already doing and to teach a host of key Information Age skills in the
process."

The complete line of ACC news services is also available for network feed
to institutions via Usenet newsgroups, and is available on many Free-Net
community computer systems that are a part of the National Public
Telecomputing Network.
