CANADA IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND

Marblehead, MA. February 14,1994 -- Pro CD, Inc. today introduced Canada
PHONE, the first CD-ROM containing white pages listings covering every
city in Canada. The product follows Bell Canada's unpopular decision this
past fall to begin charging for directory assistance. Canada Phone is part
of a series of CD-ROM telephone directory titles, published by Pro CD,
that cover North America. Canada Phone is Pro CD's second international
directory title introduced so tar this year as part of its emerging
"Global Connections" strategy.

Canada Phone contains nearly 10 million listings derived from every white
and yellow page directory published in Canada. Access to the listings
contained on the CD-ROM is provided through Pro CD's ProPhone software.
Listings may be searched by name, address, telephone number or type of
business. Canada Phone permits users to export an unlimited number of
listings to their printers or hard disks. Canada Phone will also
automatically dial highlighted listings.

With a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $149 and no restriction on
personal usage, Canada Phone brings substantial desktop reference and
marketing capabilities within reach of all North Americans. According to
Jim Bryant, Pro CD's President & CEO, Canada Phone is another example of
Pro CD's commitment to make directory information available to everybody.
We simply don't accept the traditional transaction pricing approach
established and maintained by product substitutes such as directory
assistance, expensive on-line and list services or some of the other
differently configured CD-ROM titles. Not everyone has $10,000 to spend on
Bell Canada's infodirect disc CD-ROM, which covers Ontario and Quebec."

Canada Phone is cross compatible with other ProPhone titles including
Direct Phone - the first US white page telephone directory on a single
CD-ROM, Free Phone, AT&T's toll free directory on CD-ROM, and Select
Phone, a four disc fully indexed set covering all US business and
residential listings. All titles are currently accessible under DOS.
Windows and Macintosh editions will be available in the first quarter of
1994. Searches may be conducted across all four titles using the products
advanced cross searching capabilities. According to Lonergan Harrington,
Pro CD's Director of Development, "Cross title searching has obvious
advantages to serious network users." Pro CD also distributes Europages, a
CD-ROM containing a collection of major European suppliers.

Canada Phone is currently available directly from Pro CD and will soon be
available from leading software stores across North America. Canada Phone
requires a minimum 386 PC with 4MB of RAM, Windows 3.1 and a CD-ROM
drive.

Pro CD, a privately held firm headquartered in Marblehead, MA, is changing
the way people access and use directory information. For product
