Traveling Software's CommWorks Bundled With New Dell Latitude Systems

Company Continues Vision to Provide Best-of-Breed Communications Solutions
to Strategic Partners

BOTHELL, Wash., Feb. 22, 1994 -- Traveling Software's OEM (original
equipment manufacturer) division today announced that CommWorks for
Windows will be bundled with Dell's new family of Latitude notebook
computers. This relationship furthers Traveling Software's vision of
providing complete communications solutions to strategic partners in the
industry.

CommWorks is the first all-in-one communications product that includes fax,
terminal emulation, remote PC and printer access, file notification and
the best-selling file transfer program LapLink V. CommWorks enables users
to send and receive faxes directly from their PC, dial in to popular
online services, and access remote disk drives and printers over a cable
or modem. CommWorks also includes LapLink V for transferring files over a
Novell network, cable or modem, as well as LapLink Alert which notifies
users when a file or fax is received.

CommWorks will be included at no additional charge and preloaded in Dell's
Windows-based CommCentral software suite, on every new Dell Latitude
system that ships. The Dell Latitude product line includes five models
based on Intel 486 SL enhanced processors running at 25- and 33-megahertz.
These new computers offer a full range of displays, including monochrome,
STN (super twist nematic) color and color active-matrix TFT (thin film
transistor) color; hard drives ranging in size from 120MB-260MB, local-bus
video, an embedded 11mm trackball pointing device and support for PCMCLA
Type II and Type III technology. Dell Latitude systems are available
immediately in the United States, and will also be available through its
international subsidiaries in Canada, France, Germany, Sweden and the
United Kingdom.

"This is a natural partnership for both companies, as Traveling Software is
looking to continue our vision of providing seamless connectivity to many
mobile platforms and Dell was looking for the best all-in-one business
communications solution for their Dell Latitude customers," said Mark
Eppley, chairman and CEO of Traveling Software.

"CommWorks provides the best-of-breed products for business operations in a
mobile environment such as fax, terminal emulation and remote access;
virtually everything a Dell Latitude owner will need to communicate from
the field," said David Lunsford, director of mobile communications in
Dell's portable products group.
