THE MOST HONORED AUTHOR IN THE WORLD OF IMAGINATIVE LITERATURE TAKES HIS
VIRGIN LEAP INTO COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT ADVENTURE WITH CYBERDREAMS!

LOS ANGELES -- Cyberdreams Inc., the entertainment software company, has
signed an agreement with multiple-award-winning fantasist Harlan Ellison
for the creation of a remarkable computer entertainment product based on
an expansion of Ellison's famous "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream."

The tale, a nightmarish adventure of post-apocalyptic survival deep in the
bowels of an omniscient computer that fills the center of the Earth, will
be the jumping-off point for Ellison to unleash his powerful storytelling
skill for the first time in the medium of computer entertainment.
California-based Cyberdreams will create extraordinary and cutting-edge
technology to develop an adventure scenario from the base of this story,
one of the ten most reprinted in the English language.

Ellison's work has been translated into 26 languages; he has won more Hugo
awards of the World SF Convention than any other living author (8 1/2);
three Nebula awards of the SF Writers of America; twice the recipient of
the Bram Stoker award of Horror Writers of America; twice winner of the
Edgar Allan Poe award of Mystery Writers of America; winner of the World
Fantasy Award; the British Fantasy Award; the Silver Pen of P.E.N. for
journalism; Grammy nominations; and the only author ever to win the
Writers Guild of America award for the Most Outstanding Teleplay four
times for solo work (The Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, Star Trek and The
Starlost)

He is the author of 58 books, more than 1300 stories, essays, columns, film
and TV scripts. He has lectured at hundreds of universities including
Yale, Harvard, MIT, Caltech and the London School of Economics and the
Sorbonne. His ineffable wit and no-nonsense honesty are familiar to
viewers of endless talk shows and newscasts.

"The signing of Ellison allows Cyberdreams to provide the consumer with a
very unique game by utilizing the talents of a major science fiction
writer who will use his extraordinary talent to take the game player on a
riveting adventure," said Patrick Ketchum, President and CEO of
Cyberdreams.

Ellison added, "My involvement in this project will allow me to enter
another medium and influence a new audience with my writing. It targets
those individuals who have an interest in science fiction games but may
not have read any of my stories," he continued.

Cyberdreams was formed in 1990 to create high quality entertainment
software for home computers and dedicated game systems. Cyberdreams has
niched itself by publishing games targeted to a twenty to forty year-old
audience focusing in the genre of serious science fiction.

Each product is designed, scripted and storyboarded by game play experts
and world famous artists, designers and writers from other mediums such as
H. R. Giger (Alien), Syd Mead (Blade Runner, Tron, 2010), Harlan Ellison
(the most honored author in the world of imaginative literature) and Gary
Gygax (creator of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons). The products are then
developed by an expanding number of internal or external programmers and
artists and the final product is distributed worldwide through affiliated
label agreements.
