NEW COMPUTER LITERACY VIDEO TRAINING
Explains the basics of computer hardware and software

Los Gatos, Calif.--February 1, 1994--Anderson Soft-Teach announced today
that it will begin shipping new video-training courseware on the subject
of Computer Literacy on March 31, 1994.

Topics covered in Volume I include the components of a basic system, what's
inside the system unit, and exploring software applications. Volume 2
focuses on the computer in business. Topics include adding hardware to fit
your needs, portable computers such as laptops, and an overview of the
most important software business tools. In Volume 3, the student will
learn about the benefits of sharing information using networks, protecting
and securing files, linking to mainframes and wide area networks, and
going on-line with information services. (More detailed course outlines
can be obtained directly from Anderson Soft-Teach.)

"The training courseware introduces the range of applications available and
explains what computers can do for you," said Karen Troia, product
development manager for Anderson Soft-Teach. "A student who takes this
course will go from computer illiteracy to using computers with a great
deal of confidence," she said.

Course Components

Each training volume contains an instructional videotape (closed captioned
for the hearing impaired), a student workbook and skills-test to measure
learning retention. Student workbooks include additional exercises at the
end of each lesson to reinforce skill development. Unique "In Practice"
and "Beyond the Basics" segments help users apply the training to real
business situations. The complete three-volume course will sell for $995.
Anderson Soft-Teach also offers an upgrade program for courseware
previously purchased.

Classroom Training

New classroom training versions will also contain a course-specific
instructor's guide that allows instructors to incorporate courseware into
their classroom training programs. These step-by-step guides reduce course
development time and assist instructors' efforts to provide smooth and
effective classes.
