Triton Announces CoSession for Windows 1.0

Remote Control and Remote Access in a Single Software Package with 30%
Faster Performance

Iselin, N.J., February 15, 1994 -- Triton Technologies, a leading developer
of remote communication software, announces the March 1 release of
CoSession for Windows 1.0. CoSession for Windows, the latest addition to
the CoSession family of products, provides a simple Windows user
interface, thirty percent faster performance, and remote control and
remote access capabilities in a single package that retails for under
$200.

CoSession for Windows v1.0 combines CoSession's advanced technology with
the flexibility and ease of use of Microsoft Windows. CoSession for
Windows takes advantage of Windows' memory management and multitasking
features to support enhanced background operations, multiple connections,
and other advanced capabilities. And, like Triton's existing CoSession DOS
product, CoSession for Windows supports the remote operation of both DOS
and Windows programs.

CoSession for Windows provides users with substantially faster performance
when running Windows and DOS programs remotely. The increase in speed is
attributed to a new compression technology developed by Triton. The new
compression technology significantly reduces the amount of data
transmitted over the phone line, and decreases the processing time
required to compress the data.

CoSession for Windows also adds remote access capability, which is
implemented through disk drive redirection. Drive redirection makes disk
drives on a connected CoSession PC available to the other PC as "remotely
mapped" drives. This enables a remote user connected to a networked Host
to operate as a remote node on the network, mapping all available network
drives to their local PC or laptop, with access to their local drives.
With CoSession's drive redirection, a user can run programs locally and
access files from a distant PC or LAN. Users can easily switch between
remote access and remote control modes, depending upon the amount of data
to be transferred, or the location of the software application. In
addition, users can initiate file transfers using standard DOS copy
commands or through DOS or Windows utilities, such as Windows' File
Manager.

"CoSession for Windows' drive redirection, combined with the existing
remote control capabilities, creates an extremely powerful solution that
is currently unavailable in other remote control products," explains David
Saphier, Triton's president. "Today's users demand power and flexibility
in their PCs, whether they're in or out of the office. They are running a
variety of software applications remotely and they require both remote
control and remote access to provide this flexibility without compromising
performance. CoSession for Windows presents an easy to use product with
dual capabilities -- the best of both worlds."

Another major feature is CoSession for Windows' new driver technology.
Triton's revolutionary new technology eliminates the need for special
video or mouse drivers in order to run Windows programs remotely. Other
remote control products replace these drivers, making changes to the
user's SYSTEM.INI file. Replacing the video and mouse drivers can create
conflicts with some Windows programs and with specialized video and mouse
drivers, such as the custom drivers used with accelerated video cards.

A CoSession for Windows Two PC Package retails for $199 and includes both
Host and Remote software. The Host and Remote software can be installed on
two PCs. Additional Host or Remote packages are available for $129. Volume
and corporate site license prices are available direct from Triton.
Upgrades from previous versions of CoSession or competitive packages are
$60 for a Two PC Package and $30 for a Host or Remote package.
