WORLD LIBRARY ANNOUNCES JOINT LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH THE LIBRARY
CORPORATION

Library Of The Future, Second Edition, To Be Included In NlightN, a
Universal Index Database On-Line Service

February 17, 1994 -- (GARDEN GROVE, CA) -- World Library, Inc., the
nation's leading electronic publisher of classic literature on CD-ROM,
announced that it has licensed its comprehensive CD-ROM classical
literature collection, Library of the Future, Second Edition, to The
Library Corporation for use in its NlightN Universal Index database. The
agreement will allow The Library Corporation to reference World Library's
Library of the Future, Second Edition and subsequent editions in its
comprehensive index database, according to William Hustwit, World Library
chief executive officer.

NlightN contains a global index that points to bibliographic citations from
sources such as World Library's collection of books on CD-ROM, public
government files, dissertations, reference books and periodicals. Its
graphical user-interface and hypertext links allow users to find
information without lengthy search processes. "World Library's extensive
collection of literary works will help The Library Corporation attain its
goal of creating the broadest and deepest reference tool ever created,"
said Brower Murphy, chief executive officer of The Library Corporation.

Library of the Future, Second Edition is an extensive collection of more
than 2,000 novels, essays, poems, short stories, plays and other literary
works derived from a total of 950 full works of literature, history,
religion, science, philosophy and children's classics.

The Library Corporation designed NlightN as a knowledge access tool which
enables quick and easy access to a global index of tens of millions of
records from hundreds of contributors and sources. In addition to full
bibliographical listings, the system can provide corresponding text.

"The graphical user-interface is what makes NlightN easy and fun to use,"
says Murphy. NlightN "places" the user in a library reference room,
complete with a whiteboard. Users simply type in their query, and NlightN
presents a full list of related bibliographical citations.

In addition to the Library of the Future's collection of literature, the
Universal Index points to general periodical indexes; abstracts for
dissertations, scientific journals and newspapers; table of contents for
reference and monographic publications; full text from encyclopedias,
dictionaries, atlases and thesauruses; Library of Congress MARC records;
government statistical and financial files; public domain databases;
historical timelines; and directories of business and residences.

World Library products are distributed by Compton's New Media, Laser
Resources, High Technology and Sony Electronic Publishing. The products
are carried by hundreds of retail outlets, including Babbages; B. Dalton;
BizMart; CompUSA; Computer City; Electronics Boutique; Egghead Discount
