XARGON'S DEBUT

Rockville, Maryland, January 1, 1994 -- Epic MegaGames, a publisher of
computer entertainment products, announces the debut of an exciting new
run-jump-shoot game, Xargon. Professional 256-color graphics and a
combination of music and digital sound pull you into Xargon's world, as
you become Malvineous Havershim, adventurer and anthropologist
extroardinaire.

In the tradition of Jin of the Jungle, Xargon's animated enemies and
vividly illustrated levels make it instantly addictive. Volume one, Beyond
Reality, begins the trilogy. The ten levels of this volume begin to unfold
the story of how Malivineous was transported to this strange land, and
what he must do to get home. Volume two, The Secret Chamber, continues the
battle against Xargon for fifteen levels, culminating it the destruction
of a nuclear reactor. The final battle, Xargon's Fury, contains fifteen
levels of all out battle as you race to finish off Xargon once and for
all.

In this engaging trilogy, you are Malvineous Havershim. While studying the
ruins of the Blue Builders, an ancient race that erected large, blue
structures in Madagascar, you are transported to a strange world that is
inhabited primarily by Xargon and his cohorts. Xargon, a long -time enemy
of the Blue Builders, is plotting to escape his exile and set up a
multi-dimensional empire spanning as many worlds as he can conquer. Your
job is to stop him, saving not only the Blue Builders, whose home is in a
different dimension than your own, but your own world as well.

Xargon runs on any IBM-compatible computer with a 386 or faster CPU and VGA
graphics. 640K of memory and a hard disk are also necessary. SoundBlaster
and compatible cards, and a joystick are supported.
