ATI drops the price of its new Mach-64 Graphics Pro Turbo card by 22-25%.
The card with 2MB of fast VRAM drops from $599 to $499, and with 4MB drops
from $899 to $699. Now through September, ATI offers corporate tradeup
program for customers of their older graphics and modem boards. Owners
must prepay by credit card and return trade-ins within 30 days of

Resource Partners is shipping their new cc;Fax Add-On Pack ($695), which
includes the ShowFax viewer/annotator, Faxil Windows printer driver and
NotiFax incoming mail/fax alert. Faxil "prints" Win-app pages to an image
file and attaches it to an outgoing message, with the recipient's fax
number part of the Email address. The cc:Mail attachment handler can

Windows printer driver that creates PCX, DCX, BMP or any of 5 varieties of
TIFF files instead of hard-copy pages when you print from a Windows

Philadelphi Inquirer Business section recently reported that Ziff will be
selling off its publishing empire, including PC magazines, online
services, etc.

Fargo Electronics about to ship the new color Primera Pro ($1895) 24-bit
dye-sublimation printer with full 600x300 dpi in a quiet desktop printer.
For times when only monochrome is needed, swap in a one-color wax transfer
ribbon to print 2 pages a minute. Windows, Mac and Amiga compatible over
parallel, LocalTalk or Ethernet connections. PostScript Level 2 option

Gateway 2000 will be starting to include a double-speed CD-ROM drive as
standard equipment on all desktop systems, from the top of the line to the
bottom. Also in the works, a breakthrough bundle that will include
Microsoft Office Professional with future systems. Later in June, a new
Handbook featuring 486 DX/2-50 CPU and 250MB HD, priced under $3,000.

Nuntius CommandFax version 3.0 is due out by mid-August, adding dBase and
