TRINZIC ENHANCES FOREST & TREES TO EXPAND ACCESS TO LOTUS NOTES

Version 3.1a Provides Significant Performance Improvements for Querying
Notes

PALO ALTO, California, June 23, 1994--Reflecting its commitment to provide
solutions and services to customers using Lotus Notes technology, Trinzic
Corporation (NASDAQ:TRNZ) today expanded its Notes access capability with
the introduction of Forest & Trees Version 3. la, a new release of the
award-winning desktop decision support tool that provides user-oriented
SQL access to Notes.

The highlight of Forest & Trees Version 3. la is an update to the Forest &
Trees Lotus Notes interface that empowers users with the ability to query
Notes Views in addition to Notes Forms. As Notes Views are indexed "tables
of contents" into a Notes database, view-based queries can be executed and
completed much faster than form-based queries.

"It is Trinzic's goal to be recognized as the industry's premier provider
of middleware data access connectivity," said Frederick J. Lizza, Vice
President and General Manager of Trinzic's Data Access and Connectivity
Products Group. "The delivery of workflow computing solutions that allow
workgroups to have access to strategic data stored in Lotus Notes as well
as external database management systems represents a key milestone in
achieving that goal."

Customers are applauding the performance improvements seen when querying a
Notes View vs. querying a Notes Form. According to Robert Cooke, Chief
Information Officer at Domecq Importers, a Greenwich, CT-based spirits
importer, "The performance improvements in Forest & Trees Version 3. la
are impressive--it has opened up a new avenue for accessing strategic
information. We can now integrate Lotus Notes information with other data
sources such as Oracle and Fox Pro, effectively creating one environment
by taking advantage of the data access capabilities of Forest & Trees."

Forest & Trees and Lotus Notes

The latest version of Forest & Trees expands upon its existing Notes access
capability, whereby Forest & Trees views Notes as though it were a
relational database, enabling users to point-and-click to create SQL
queries for accessing Notes data. Forest & Trees treats Notes Forms and
Views as tables, documents as rows and fields as columns. Therefore, users
need no knowledge of the Notes Formula Language since they build Notes
queries the same way they do for all of the more than 25 additional data
sources supported by Forest & Trees.

As a charter member of the Lotus Professional Developers Program, Trinzic
has a strong heritage in providing applications that add value to Lotus
Notes. InfoPump, Trinzic's "middleware" data router product, has been
optimized to integrate Notes applications with information stored in
transaction-oriented databases, enabling an integrated client/server
environment. Trinzic is also a member of the Lotus Business Partners
Program.
