CHICAGO, IL - June 23, 1994 -- Sport Accolade today announced the creation
of All-Star Sports Collection, a compilation of sports games for the IBM
CD-ROM platform. The collection combines three of Accolade's most popular
products: Jack Nicklaus Golf & Course Design: Signature Edition, Al
Michaels Announces HardBall III and Unnecessary Roughness. The All-Star
Sports Collection is scheduled for release in July at the attractive
suggested retail price of $39.95.

Jack Nicklaus Golf & Course Design: Signature Edition is developed in
association with Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus Productions. Described as
"the true gold standard of golf games" Jack Nicklaus Golf & Course Design:
Signature Edition features two gorgeous 256-color VGA courses - water
intensive English Turn Golf Club in New Orleans, site of the 1994
Freeport-McMoRan classic, and rugged Sherwood Country Club in Thousand
Oaks, CA, site of the 1994 Franklin Fund Shark Shoot-Out. It also boasts
the only Course Designer on the market that lets players create their own
courses in 256 vibrant colors and comes complete with fully-digitized male
and female players, including the computerized swing of Jack Nicklaus
himself. Players can also customize their computer player so they play
just like the pro of their choice.

Al Michaels Announces HardBal III is the third game in the well known
HardBall! series. It is a one or two player game in which players can
assume the role of team manager supervising the players and controlling
their performance or select to play classic arcade-style baseball. In
HardBall III players can compete in exhibition games, a complete 162 game
season including an all-star game, playoffs and championship games.
Popular sports announcer, Al Michaels does the play-by-play. The game also
includes eight actual big league ballparks such as San Francisco, Detroit
and Boston. Each ballpark is displayed in 256-color VGA graphics and has
been accurately rendered to include such authentic characteristics as the
correct distances to walls, and foul territories.

The third and final product in the All-Star Sports Collection is
Unnecessary Roughness. This football simulation incorporates the names and
statistics of over 650 real pros from the National Football League Players
Association (NFLPA) set in Super VGA graphics. This bone-snapping game is
graphically intense and offers extra-large rotoscoped and scaling player
graphics in a rotating 3D stadium. It is also the only football simulation
to feature Infinity Cam, a graphics technology that enables players to
view the game from any location with infinite camera angles.

Unnecessary Roughness is a one player or two-player competitive/cooperative
game. Players can compete in exhibition games, play complete seasons
against all 28 pro league cities, or even customize their own league and
take their favorite team through the playoffs and the championship. The
voice of football sportscaster Al Michaels does the play-by-play. Michaels
has been honored with many awards in his career, including the coveted
Emmy.
