Folio Announces the Folio Business Partner (FBP) Program

Maturing Infobase Industry Prompts Folio to Offer More, Expect More from
VARs and Resellers

PROVO, Utah, June 17, 1994 -- Folio Corporation has announced it is
strenthening its commitment to the rapidly growing infobase industry by
implementing the new Folio Business Partner (FBP) program which goes into
effect August 1, 1994. Folio is strengthening the infobase sales channel
by improving technical, marketing and sales support for participants in
its newly defined reseller program. Existing and new resellers will have
the opportunity to qualify for the new FBP program by participating in
special technical training and testing for certification and by agreeing
to the terms of Folio's new FBP agreement.

According to Rob Walton, director of channel marketing, "The FBP
certification process is not intended as a series of hoops for resellers
to jump through. It's a process designed to help resellers improve
themselves and their businesses to support increasingly sophisticated
infobase technology products."

One of the most important components of the FBP certification is the new
Certified Infobase Engineer (CIE) program (see related announcement).
Folio now requires each qualifying FBP organization to have at least one
person with CIE status on staff to serve as a technical resource for major
accounts.

Details of the Folio Business Partner program and the Certified Infobase
Engineer program were recently communicated to existing Folio resellers.
The FBP program will also be fully explained at Folio's Infobase '94
conference, June 28-30, in Salt Lake city, Utah. For more information
about the conference, call (800) 228-9437. For information about the Folio
Business Partner program, call Folio at (801) 344-3700 or fax (801)
344-3787.

What Folio Offers Its FBP Organizations

"Folio will provide the resources, people and funding needed for a
significantly higher level of support than it has offered in the past,"
said Walton. "We expect a lot from our new FBPs, and they should expect
the same from us."

The new FBP program includes the following services and benefits for
participating organizations:

* A "Seminar-in-a-box" program, which provides FBPs with the
materials needed to build their own customer seminars
* New sales programs including joint sales calls with Folio
regional managers, clearly defined account protection and a
  qualified lead program

In addition, Folio will more fully utilize electronic and written
