ARTISOFT'S CORSTREAM DEDICATED SERVER RECEIVES NOVELL LABS CERTIFICATION

(TUCSON, AZ - July 25, 1994) - Artisoft, Inc. announced today that its
recently released CorStream dedicated server has successfully completed
the Novell Labs certification testing to become a "Yes, NetWare Tested and
Approved" product. The CorStream server is a runtime version of Novell's
NetWare 4 network operating system combined with a high-performance,
32-bit LANtastic network NetWare Loadable Module (NLM). The certification
designates compatibility between the LANtastic NLM and the NetWare 4
network operating system.

"We're very pleased with the certification, which tells users that the
CorStream server is fully compatible with NetWare 4 systems," said
Artisoft's Vice President of Software Products Sunil Padiyar. "The
CorStream server was designed to give users the power and reliability of
the NetWare 4 platform, while maintaining the LANtastic network's ease of
use."

"The CorStream server brings Artisoft customers the high performance and
reliability of NetWare 4 on a LANtastic network," said Toby Corey, Senior
Director of Marketing, NetWare Products Mvision at Novell. "And because
the CorStream server is 'NetWare Tested and Approved,' customers can be
assured that it has passed rigorous tests at Novell Labs and is
NetWare-compatible."

The CorStream dedicated server is the result of an agreement signed earlier
this year, which provided for Artisoft's licensing of Novell's
client-server technology. The server provides users of LANtastic v5.0 and
v6.0 with additional features that NetWare is known for, including fault
tolerance, file system/media management, mission-critical reliability and
applications compatibility.

Novell Labs, located in Provo, Utah, is a testing division of Novell, Inc.
devoted to testing and certifying third-party hardware and software for
compatibility with NetWare products. The "Yes, NetWare Tested and
Approved" logo is earned by hardware and software products that have
passed rigorous testing by Novell.

A copy of the CorStream server certification can be obtained by requesting
document #17968 from Novell Labs FaxBack System, 1 (800) 414-5227.
