BADGER COMPUTERS INTRODUCES RUGGED FULL-486 MODULAR VEHICLE COMPUTER

New Badger Specifically Designed for Public Safety and Other Vehicle
Markets; Unique Mount Allows Driver/Passenger Viewing and Keyboard Access

Tampa, FL -- August 22, 1994 --Badger Computers introduced today the Badger
GT-486MVC (Modular Vehicle Computer), the first full-486 modular computer
to meet military specification standards for ruggedness designed
specifically for public safety and in-vehicle usage. The modular Badger is
designed for computer aided dispatch, mobile data collection, report
writing and communications.

Badger Computers is a division of Group Technologies Corporation
(NASDAQ:GRTK), the world's eighth-largest independent electronic contract
manufacturer.

The Badger MVC unit is a modular design that allows the keyboard to be
detached from the computer for data entry on either the driver's or
passenger' s side of the vehicle. An optional roll-mount (patent pending)
integrates the computer, display and keyboard into one ergonomic
easy-to-use unit. The unique mount allows viewing access from either the
driver's or passenger's side. The MVC mount is compatible with dual airbag
configurations now mandated for many municipal government vehicles.

'Public safety personnel have long needed computers which had all the
features and functionality of powerful 486 desktop computers, but were
also rugged and robust,' said Jeanne Kuehner, manager, Badger Computers.
'Our modular design and mount makes the computer easily accessible.'

The Badger GT-486 MVC is available now at a suggested list price of $4,995.
Badger computers are marketed directly and through value-added resellers
specializing in outdoor applications.
