ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS LIMITED ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF COMWARE
INTERNATIONAL, X.400 COMPANY BASED IN FRANCE

ESL Further Expands Growth in Europe and Enhances Product Line; High
Performance, Native X.400 Backbone MTA Highlighted

(Westlake Village, California; 18 August 1994)--Enterprise Solutions
Limited (ESL), with headquarters in Westlake Village, California, a
provider of complete X.400/X.500 messaging solutions, announced today the
acquisition of ComWare International, headquartered in Paris, France.
ComWare International has specialized in X.400 and OSI (Open Systems
Interconnection) since 1987, and has won numerous high profile contracts
throughout the public and private sectors in France. Among its strategic
customers are France Telecom, the Bank of France, the Paris Metro (RATP),
and the French Ministry of Agriculture.

The French Government is committed to open systems standards, and has
successfully installed a large digital telecommunications network. This
has accelerated the growth of the X.400 market, which is growing at a
faster rate in France than in Europe as a whole. As Enterprise Solutions
France S.A., the company will continue to develop and expand its role as a
leading supplier of X.400 and X.500-based solutions to both the public and
private sectors. Enterprise Solutions France will also remain a strategic
supplier of Infonet Software Solutions (ISS, formerly OSIware) in the
French market.

Enterprise Solutions France will continue to be managed by Philippe
Belantan, its Directeur General. The development program will be
integrated into the Enterprise Solutions development operation, which has
facilities in Alton, UK; Ottawa, Canada; and Westlake Village, California.
Commenting on the acquisition, Philippe Belantan stated "We are very
pleased to have the resources of ESL behind our operation, and to deliver
the complete integrated EXM Mail solution to the French marketplace."

The ComWare acquisition has global significance for ESL. Among the many
successful X.400/X.500 products and technology developed and sold by
ComWare is a native X.400 backbone Message Transfer Agent (MTA) for high
performance sites. Based on the Infonet Software Solutions MTA, as
enhanced by ComWare International, the high-end system MTA is for
centrally-located and high performance sites. ComWare has also developed
sophisticated and innovative electronic messaging systems which are secure
and reliable, and which also significantly reduce the cost of transporting
data. ComWare has also developed and delivered to market Fax Servers,
Telex Servers, and X.400 Administration Tools.

Company Information

ESL has delivered and installed complete messaging solutions which include
both X.400 and X.500, as well as administration tools and add-on
components such as calendar/scheduling, document interchange, document
viewer and printer, and security. ESL has found a great deal of success
with both commercial users and government agencies who want a messaging
system which delivers, manages, and controls the information flow across
the enterprise, including the sending of personal mail. Customers such as
Wal*Mart, McDonalds, the Department of Defense (DOD), the U.S. Navy, and a
U.S. intelligence agency have chosen an X.400 native solution from ESL to
provide this.

Enterprise Solutions X.400/X.500 mail and messaging products include X.400
User Agents and Remote User Agents for multiple user interfaces, full
X.500 Directory Services, complete Mail Administration, 1988 multiprotocol
X.400 Message Transfer Agents (MTA), and a number of add-on, mail-enabled
workflow applications.

ComWare International has brought unsurpassed X.400 expertise to the French
market since 1987. ComWare's extensive reference list includes corporate
and government customers in banking, transport, administration, health,
military, agriculture, and several large software companies. ComWare
worked closely with the Bank of France's internal computer and
communications group, Sescom, to design and develop a dedicated system
based upon the ISS Messenger 400 technology, to modernize the system of
selling French treasury bonds. The company has also designed and continues
to manage a nationwide system that uses native X.400 backbone messaging
technology for the French Ministry of Agriculture.

Enterprise Solutions began shipping ENTERPRISE MAIL in the United States in
December 1991, with first installations at major government agencies and
at selected corporate sites. One of the company's first customers in the
U.S. was Wal*Mart Stores, where ESL established an entire messaging
capability for the Home Office as well as for the movement of all
information to and from more than 2,300 stores, all their primary vendors,
and Wal*Mart's international operations.
