Powerful New D/Vision Update At IBC
TouchVision Systems, Inc. Announces D/Vision - Pro 2.2

CHICAGO, IL, August 1, 1994 -- TouchVision Systems, Inc., developers of
D/Vision, the #1 selling digital video editor for the PC, will demon-
strate Version 2.2 of its highly acclaimed D/Vision - Pro at IBC, stand
#11.355.

"From its inception, we designed D/Vision - Pro as an easy-to-use, yet
extremely powerful tool for professional film and video editors," said
Bruce A. Rady, TouchVision president and CEO. "Unlike other digital video
editors on the market which require costly proprietary hardware, D/Vision
uses only standard, off-the-shelf IBM PC hardware including the AMII
Video/Audio Accelerator board for digitizing and compression. So
D/Vision users have reduced risk of obsolescence and save thousands of
dollars in initial setup costs, as well as system expansion, as their
storage needs increase."

D/Vision - Pro 2.2 offers powerful new features including compositing and
motion control effects, auto-batch digitizing with machine control, film
cutting lists, importing and editing of AVI files, improved online EDLs,
and improved graphics quality. Pro features professional online EDLs, 3D
text, graphics and animation, six (6) channels of 44.1 Khz audio, support
for up to one hundred (100) hours of instantly accessible video, and
support of PAL and NTSC video in and out.

Thousands of digital video effects can be created with D/Vision - Pro 2.2
such as compositing, keying, flips, stutters, and variable speed motion
control. Up to five overlapping layers of motion video, graphics, or
animation can be scaled and composited with varying transparency and key
levels. And slow, fast, or reverse motion can be created by simply
keying in the desired speed. TOHERE

As an added bonus and new in Version 2.2, D/Vision - Pro is being
distributed on CD-ROM with CrystalGraphics'Flying Fonts Plus, a very fast
and easy-to-use 3-D titling, modeling and animation tool. Flying Fonts
Plus is a subset of CrystalGraphics' Topas graphics package. Users can
now easily create texture-mapped titles, logo treatments, and other
graphics which can be animated in 3D. Both stills and animation can then
be exported to D/Vision and edited into programs or overlayed onto live
video.

Acclaimed in the professional film and video industry for its intuitive
graphical user interface, speed, full functionality, ease of use, and
affordability, a full turnkey D/Vision - Pro system sells for a fraction
of the price of comparable digital video editing sytems.

TouchVision Systems, Inc. has been a pioneer in non-linear video editing
technology since 1984. Today, with close to 3,000 installations
throughout the world, D/Vision - Pro offers state-of-the-art digital video
solutions to the professional film and video community. D/Vision products
are sold through a worldwide dealer network.
