Folio, Exoterica Announce Licensing Agreement

Folio To Offer Exoterica OmniMark As Part of SGML Publishers Kit

July 5, 1994, Provo, Utah -- Folio Corporation and Exoterica Corporation
have announced an agreement that will allow Folio to re-sell licenses of
Exoterica's OmniMark Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML)
processing software as part of an upcoming Folio SGML publishers kit The
agreement will enable Folio to become a one-stop solution provider for
SGML publishers who have chosen Folio VIEWS as the search and retrieval
and information management engine for their electronic titles The
announcement was made at Infobase '94

Folio will offer licenses to OmniMark as part of the SGML kit that will
also include a flexible, user-configurable driver that can be customized
for translating SGML-based information into Folio infobases The driver can
be customized to accommodate any of the wide array of existing document
type definitions (DTDs) which describe the rules for valid SGML document
structure Details on Folio's SGML publishers kit will be released at a
later date The Folio SGML driver is currently in beta testing and was
demonstrated at Infobase '94
