Introducing WBS Chart for Project

Generate Work Breakdown Structure (Hierarchical-style) charts from your
Microsoft Project files

Fairfield, California - Jim Spiller & Associates announces the release of
WBS Chart for Project, a companion product to Microsoft Project version
3.0 and 4.0. WBS Chart for Project allows users of Microsoft Project to
produce presentation-quality Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) charts
directly from their current projects. WBS Chart for Project instantly
displays the hierarchical structure of a project, showing how the project
is broken down into summary and detail levels. A WBS chart is similar in
appearance to an Organizational Chart but shows how a project is organized
rather than a corporation.

WBS Chart is a full-featured Windows program that allows users to create,
edit, and print WBS charts directly from Microsoft Project. Users can also
create organizational and other types of hierarchical charts.

WBS Chart is Easy to Use

Creating a chart is easy -- Simply open a project file in Microsoft
Project, select the WBS Chart option in the Microsoft Project menu, and a
WBS chart is automatically generated from the current project. There is
no need to export data from Project, exit the program and start up another
application. WBS Chart for Project accesses the project information
directly using the latest DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange) technology. "It's
just like having another View in Microsoft Project. Before WBS Chart,
Microsoft Project users had Gantt and PERT charts, now they have a WBS
chart as well," said Jim Spiller, president of Jim Spiller & Associates.
"The WBS chart is a very popular and widely used project management tool.
A customer even told me that his company was going to stop using Microsoft
Project and use another project management software package simply because
the ability to obtain a WBS Chart was not available in Microsoft Project.
Now that he has WBS Chart for Project, his company is continuing to use
and support Microsoft Project."
