TRINZIC INTRODUCES INFOPUMP 1.2:
EXPANDS OPERATING SYSTEM SUPPORT TO AIX AND WINDOWS NT

Popular Data Replication Solution Offers Support for Additional Databases
and 32-bit OS/2, AIX and Windows NT Operating Systems

PALO ALTO, California, September 21, 1994--Trinzic Corporation (NASDAQ
TRNZ) today announced InfoPump 1 2, extending the reach of its InfoPump
data replication and routing solution to include new server environments
The latest version of InfoPump has been optimized to support full 32-bit
implementations of the OS/2, AIX and Windows NT operating systems.

"Users of InfoPump 1 2 will benefit from the better performance provided by
32-bit operating systems," said Frederick J Lizza, Vice President and
General Manager of Trinzic's Data Access and Connectivity Products Group
"In addition, the support of the AIX and Windows NT environments makes it
possible for users to run InfoPump on scalable hardware platforms,
enabling performance upgrades as needed We expect to see our customers
build applications that can move two to three times the amount of data
currently moved by InfoPump 1.1."

New Database Interfaces

To complement the addition of new operating systems support, InfoPump 1 2
features a series of new database interfaces They include: Ingres (AIX, NT
and OS/2); Informix (AIX and NT); DB2/6000 (AIX); and dBase (NT and
OS/2).

"With the new interfaces, InfoPump's utility for the UNIX marketplace will
be greatly expanded," noted Lizza "The new dBase interface will allow
organizations to expand upward from PCs to incorporate dBase data with
other enterprise data stores," added Lizza.

InfoPump 1.2 also features an interface to Microsoft's popular Excel
spreadsheet This interface enables organizations to easily load financial
data from corporate databases into Excel for financial analysis.

data between unlike databases including Lotus Notes InfoPump replicates
host data on servers for enduser access and facilitates the sharing of
data between Lotus Notes and transaction-oriented DBMSs InfoPump is

Pricing and Availability

InfoPump 1.2 for OS/2 servers is expected to be available during the fourth
quarter of calendar year 1994, while Windows NT and AIX versions are
expected to be available during the first quarter of 1995 InfoPump 1.2
will be available directly from Trinzic, Sybase/MDI and an extensive
network of value-added resellers OS/2 and Windows NT versions, including
development licenses and database interfaces, are expected to be available
at the current OS/2 version average price of $25,000 AIX versions are
expected to be available at an average price of $35,000.
