Mainstay Flow Demonstrated:
Flowchart Design and Development Tool for Windows

San Jose, CA, March 15, 1994--Mainstay today showed Mainstay Flow for
Windows, an easy to learn and use Windows application for flowchart design
and development. Mainstay Flow for Windows is based on the highly rated,
best-selling application, Mainstay Flow for Macintosh. To create a chart,
users simply drag symbols from a palette onto the work area. Dragging
between two symbols connects them with lines. Select a symbol and type to
enter text. All aspects of a chart can be colorized, line widths and
arrowheads can be changed, and graphics can be pasted into charts.

Libraries with more than 800 different intelligent symbols are included
with Mainstay Flow, and users can easily create their own custom symbols
using a variety of graphics programs.

Mainstay Flow supports nested hierarchy; multiple subcharts can be linked
to each symbol of the main chart. Chart symbols can also be set to
automatically launch files from other applications. Mainstay Flow for
Windows creates charts as large as eight by eight pages, supports
VGA-color display, and color printing.

Mainstay Flow for Windows comes with a translator to convert flowcharts
created by HavenTree's EasyFlow DOS program directly into Mainstay Flow
files. Mainstay Flow also translates ASCII text files into true flowcharts
with ranked and connected symbols.

Mainstay Flow for Windows runs under Microsoft Windows 3.1 and maintains
the same look and feel as its Macintosh counterpart. Mainstay Flow
provides file-level compatibility between the Mac and Windows versions.

"Mainstay has been promising its cross-platform customers support with
their favorite applications, and now we're delivering. They can create,
exchange, and view flowcharts on both Macs and PCs running Windows," says
Mainstay president Tom Nalevanko.

Release of Mainstay Flow for Windows is scheduled for the second quarter of
1994. The suggested retail price is $395.
