Welcome! This readme file describes WTC.WLD, a REND386 world designed
to simulate a fireman responding to the bombing of the World Trade Center.

This setup contains everything necessary to run the WTC world.

You can run this application without any more hardware than the computer
(386SX or better), keyboard, and mouse, but it loses much of it's appeal,
interactivity, and realism. To truly enjoy the world, a powerglove and
joystick are highly recommended. In fact, it's almost mandatory (I haven't
heavily tested the world without).

To start it up with the glove, type the following at the command line:
        runwtcg
This will start the application up, expecting the glove to be on parallel
port #2. Check the DEVICES.CFG file for how to use parallel port #1

To start it up without the glove
        runwtc
Here you can use the arrow keys and mouse to move and grab objects. Note
that you will need to use the menus to "hack" the saw from the engine,
before "grasp"ing it.

The app is structed as follows:

User, starting on second floor, must go towards pole
Once close enought to the pole, you will slide down to first level
Then you must go towards the back of the truck
Once you are close enough, you will jump onto the back
This will start the fire engine rolling
You will ride the truck to the bomb site and jump off
Once at the Vista hotel, grab the fire extinguisher
Aim it at the fire by door - need to get close enough
Select the nozzle of the extinguisher to spray the fire
Need to spray the fire several times
Select and grab the saw (works best with PG)
Stand on one of the two sensors by the garage door (glass on floor)
Wait until the saw has cut a crack in the door
Go to the other sensor, and again cut a crack in the door
        Door should fall down
Go down ramp into the main garage area
        Explore the levels

Enjoy - Expand
