Winvnkey Package Version 1.2
============================
  Winvnkey is a program that lets you use Vietnamese with most Windows
applications. This package includes 7 basic VISCII fonts. After
installation, read the ReadAfterInstallation file, or run Winvnkey
and click on Help or Giup buttons for help and documentation.

  The only change from package version 1.1 to 1.2 is to fix the bug in the
old installation routine that interchanged the font HoangYen with HoangYenH
and MinhQuan with MinhQuanH. The installation package distributed on
TriChlor's floppies does not have this problem. All software, including
winvnkey 1.1, remains unchanged.

  To install, run the setup program in this directory :

           SETUP

  Also included in this package is FOTFIX, a utility to remove the accent
marks from the font names of 3 fonts: A'nh Minh, Minh Qua^n, and U Hoa`i.
WordPerfect 5.2 has a bug which causes the system to crash when font names
with accent marks are selected. We have notified WordPerfect, and the
problem has been fixed for WordPerfect 6.0. However, we have provided
FOTFIX as a work-around for WP 5.2 users. Caution: If you have other
programs or documents which use these original 3 fonts, they won't be
able to find these fonts after FOTFIX is executed, since their names
will have been changed. Please read the file FOTFIX.DOC for instructions.

Important:
==========
1) When you run Winvnkey, let it run in the background, or minimize
   (iconify) it. If you close or exit it, you won't be able to type
   in Vietnamese. Do not run another keyboard interceptor such as
   VietVu at the same time with Winvnkey.

2) You must select a Vietnamese font first in order to type in Vietnamese
   characters. If you type in the character <e.> as in (me. - mother),
   and you see a copyright symbol instead, you have not selected a
   Vietnamese font correctly.

3) As of this date 11/93, an additional 30 Vietnamese VISCII fonts are
   available, together with many applications such as Vietnamese
   Poetry , Music and MIDI songs, all available free on major archives.
   Or you can also contact TriChlor at our email or postal address below
