CUPERTINO, Calif. -- June 23, 1993 -- Portfolio Software, Inc. today
reduced pricing of its entire Windows and Macintosh product line including
Dynodex, DynoPage and the SmartScrap/SuperGlue bundle. The suggested
retail price of Portfolio's products has dropped from $89.95 to $59.95,
enabling resellers to offer Portfolio's software to end-users at very
competitive pricing.

Brian Smiga, Portfolio's co-founder and general manager, said, "We realize
there are a lot of great productivity software packages for Windows and
Macintosh users to choose from. Portfolio's commitment to innovation
combined with its dedication to its customers and resellers alike drives
us to offer not just great software, but attractive pricing as well."

Macintosh Upgrades, Bundles

Portfolio has also reduced the price of upgrading from DynoPage Lite for
the Macintosh to DynoPage 2.0. The suggested retail price has dropped from
$49.00 to $29.95.

DynoPage Lite is currently bundled with several personal information
management software packages including: InControl by Attain Corporation,
First Things First by Visionary Software, Day Maker by Pastel Corporation
and Contact Ease Portfolio Software. Inc by Westware.

DynoPage Lite enables users to print output from these applications to six
different page sizes, including pages for personal organizers.

Award-Winning Dynodex

Dynodex is a full-featured address book program that enables Windows and
Macintosh users to manage contacts and print address books to fit into
personal organizers such as Day Timers, Day-Runner, Filofax and others.
The program provides a pre-formatted Entry Screen, and 22 user rename able
fields; an extensive notes field that holds up to 5,000 characters, all of
which are searchable; four phone number fields; three dedicated fields to
group names by category, or include a salutation, next action information
or other special flags; and a date field for birthdays, deadlines or other
dates.

Several data entry options are offered including automatic initial caps;
Shorthand Keys to type a partial value; customizable field labels and tab
order, and repeatable field entry from the previous record to save data
entry time.

Dynodex offers a wide variety of printing options from any size address
page to mailing labels, Rolodex cards and envelopes. All page sizes and
layouts are customizable, giving users maximum flexibility in how they can
print their data.

Included with Dynodex are pre-set page formats for most personal organizers
including Day-Timer, Day Runner and Time/Design, eliminating the need to
spend time designing layouts. The program can break pages on a new letter
of the alphabet or print continuous listings, depending on user
preference. It also includes pre-set formats for most laser label and card
sizes such as Avery or Paper Direct. When printing envelopes, Dynodex can
print return addresses and offers optional printing of Post Net bar codes,
speeding up mail delivery.

DynoPage

DynoPage is a print application/driver program that allows users to print
any file on any page size. Users can create mini-pages for personal
organizers, appointments books and calendars. DynoPage also prints
booklets, manuals, thumbnail proofs and trifold brochures. Because
DynoPage can print pages that are smaller than the paper normally printed
on -- 8-1/2 x 11-- it can fit multiple pages on each sheet of paper.

Users can set up DynoPage to work transparently with most applications.
After initial setup, DynoPage takes over any application's print routine
and gives the user flexibility in how documents are printed. Dialog boxes
allow users to choose layouts, and provide information about print
options.

DynoPage extends the print options of most Windows and Macintosh software
giving users the added choices of double-sided and printing any page size
including formats for all personal organizers, thumbnails, brochures and
booklets. DynoPage ships with over 100 layouts including formats for
Day-Timer, Day Runner, Filofax, Franklin and other organizers.
